In February of 2019, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) announced its plans to invest $1.6 billion to convert two of its smaller engine plants into a state-of-the-art assembly facility for its next-generation Jeep® Grand Cherokee (WL). The new assembly complex was part of a $4.5 billion investment that impacted five existing facilities in Michigan and aimed at creating 6,500 new jobs for the area.

my vehicle (Summit Reserve L) is making some squeaky sound when going over rough roads or bumps like crossing the rail line crossing. the noise is coming from the bottom of the body between the riverside and passenger seat. my dealer has done one inspection, he was able to reproduce the sound but could not make any decision as to what was causing that. is there anyone else hearing that ?
please drive your jeep with driver side open windows and drive on rough roads or bumps.

I recently noticed that the skid plate under the driver's side appears to be hanging. Had the dealer look at it yesterday when getting the UConnect update and they told me that it in fact was a missing bolt that holds the skid plate in place. Turns out there have been many GCLs coming in with the same issue, so it must have been missed in the assembly. We hadn't heard noises from it hanging, but they said people have come in with that issue complaining about noises like you are describing.
