V8 Orders/Availability?

Ordered my V8 May 3. Received this email this morning, August 3.
Hello Mr. Smith,
This is a courtesy email update regarding your Jeep Grand Cherokee L factory order status.
I show your order has been sequenced for production with all the parts necessary to begin building your order either being scheduled or gathered. Your order presently has an estimated production plan timing projected to take place the week of 08-09-21. Please keep in mind, this timing is estimated and could be subject to change.
I will be following up with you for your order updates as soon as there are additional updates to share on your order. Additional email responses received will be queued and responded to within this time-frame only. If you require immediate assistance pertaining to any ordering questions or concerns, we encourage you to speak with your ordering dealership who is your best resource for any ordering questions you may have related to your factory order.

I did not frequently check on status or am familiar with statuses but Jeep had been gathering parts for the build from Mid-June to Mid-July. Went into production between Mid-July and the shipment date of August 2nd. Dealer said it has shipped but ETA is up in the air due to Jeep updating their system. Dealer had ordered Rams with TBD assigned delivery dates but they randomly arrived to dealer lots. I’m thinking if it’s the same issue, I should be receiving my L next week.
How did you get it on file for them to email you about your status change?

My v8 overland was shipped by rail, but for some reason the rail eta for phoenix was pushed back 4 days. Not sure how rail gets delayed? traffic? pirates? nuclear bomb?

Mine is still in inspection…. How long does it usually stay in I status?
Are you getting any info on yours? I think you are from Kansas, I am also, SW Ks. Ordered mine in Wichita on May 3 and still in D status. I wonder how many options will be deleted by the time we get ours? Just curious if you could remind me when you ordered yours.
