Mine has improved at almost 10k miles to around 17 mpg in mountain/flat mixed driving at 55-85mph, which is better than the 14-15mpg I was seeing before. It's partly due to the fact that I usually use the paddle shifters to force it to hold the taller gears unless passing. Otherwise it shifts too often, sort of as if it had the programming from a V6 or something. Forcing it to stay in 6/7/8 instead of constantly dropping down to lower gears helps.
