V8 gas mileage?

Mine has improved at almost 10k miles to around 17 mpg in mountain/flat mixed driving at 55-85mph, which is better than the 14-15mpg I was seeing before. It's partly due to the fact that I usually use the paddle shifters to force it to hold the taller gears unless passing. Otherwise it shifts too often, sort of as if it had the programming from a V6 or something. Forcing it to stay in 6/7/8 instead of constantly dropping down to lower gears helps.

Hmm, I don't know that I'm experiencing low gear usage unless I'm in Sport mode, where it keeps it in a lower gear until you've completely let off the throttle. Maybe this is another item to give to you dealer to have them look at :( More ingredients for your lemonade :(
