Fair deal. Brown 112 has a black Summit. Looks good.Dam sorry I didn’t think to take pictures of it until after I left the test drive. I’m on Long Island and the dealer I went to was Browns 112. One of the other local dealers posted on Facebook that they got them in and a sales man posted pictures. I have to find it again and will share the dealer name. I didn’t buy the one I tested, it was a Summit missing only one or two options. A little out of my price range. I did put a deposit down on a limited that was told should be in 6-8 weeks. I do have to say I wasn’t crazy about the wood trim in the pictures but once I was in the Jeep the wood trim looks really nice and adds a nice touch to it. If you have any questions let me know.
Yup that's the one I drove, black Summit.Fair deal. Brown 112 has a black Summit. Looks good.
interesting that another LI dealer also received an L too. I’m wondering what trim and color they received.
Many thanks.
After getting nowhere with the dealer, I tried the chat option on FCA community. I gave them my VIN and was told my Grand Cherokee L was ‘built and pending installation of additional equipment with no dealer ETA”. This, after I was told by my dealer it could be here as soon as this week, LOL. So basically, I know nothing.I called my dealer this morning for my weekly update, and he told me he was just notified that the grand Cherokees were being released for shipment on May 24. I asked how long he thought it would take to get to our location (Ohio) and he said he was estimating up to four weeks. That seems excessive coming from Detroit which is just a few hours drive. But they will be making a bunch of deliveries so maybe that’s realistic?
From what I've read on Wrangler and RAM forums, the chat with FCA is the best way to get accurate info, sorry to hear they don't have an ETA to the dealerAfter getting nowhere with the dealer, I tried the chat option on FCA community. I ordered mine on March 4th. It has been built and is in storage. I have no idea when I will get it. I checked with Jeep yesterday and it is still in storage. I wish there was more information available regarding launch date and on sale date. Seems like they are stock piling inventory. I find this frustrating. My dealer told me 6-8 weeks
