UConnect/Apple CarPlay issues

I've been ranting and raving about this same issue for a few months...it works perfectly for 2 months or so, then it drops...I end up deleting and re-pairing multiple times and then at some point it works again....until it doesn't. I finally decided to look for a forum and I found this discussion! It sucks that we're all having the same problem but I'm glad to know I'm not the only one. I am now going to try the soft reset process suggested by someone in this thread...if that doesn't work I'm calling the dealership for a diagnostics appointment!

Uconnect Build FCA-MY22.S23.13-PROD.

Audio Settings>Volume Adjustment:

Volume levels for Phone, Navigation and VR all reset to defaults of level 15, which are so loud the speakers distort and occupants of vehicle are startled.
I know I'm not the only one. Seen many similar posts across multiple FCA lines of business forums.

Reducing these levels to reasonable ones only lasts for the current ride.
Upon entry to the vehicle for the next ride, they all reset to 15 again.
This issue occurs regardless of the head unit being connected to a cell phone under CarPlay or not. Disabling bluetooth and wifi on phone ensured carplay is not part of this issue. It's a pure Uconnect software bug.

I have a 45 second video recreating the issue. Shows the modified settings for Phone, Nav and VR: 3,4 and 5, respectively. Turn off the vehicle, open the door, close the door, lock the vehicle with FOB, wait 10 seconds or so for everything to fully power down, unlock the vehicle with FOB, open the door, turn on the vehicle, go to Volume Adjustment page, all three levels have reset to 15.

Tried reporting this on the FCA/JEEP website https://www.jeep.com/webselfservice/jeep/EmailPage.html but after all the typing the webpage just hangs and spins with a message that says "loading."
Wonderful. They must have the same developers working on both Uconnect and their customer website code.

For what it's worth, I called them directly at 1-877-426-5337, and used the option for Uconnect issues, where a polite gentlemen took all of the information above and provided me a case number. He did search the issue and stated multiple customers reported this issue.
He also stated that S25 would contain this fix. Of course, no ETA for the S25 push. I'm sure it requires the same level of vigorous testing that prior software updates have gone through. :)

Also opened a case for Waze intermittantly not updating current GPS location and instead showing last location when Waze was used under CarPlay.

I would hope we all continue to open cases. The more who complain, the better the chances that a software update will actually materialize. Keeping my fingers crossed!

2022 Grand Cherokee Summit Reserve
I have some of thes issues you describe on y 2022 Jeep. Purchased a 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit Reserve in February. It has many SW issues that neither Jeep or the dealer can fix. The issues are the Phone not connecting, the Weather not loading, the profiles not saved, the seats not remembering their saved positions....we have other issues from our trip. The radio would not show what songs were playing on SirusXM or USB. Also the radio would nor show Apps window, just flash. The radio also flashed across on the screen. I could not get a video on that one, but I have video on the Apps button not working. In short, it is NOT the car or brand you want to purchase. I'm trying to get rid of this car ASAP. I hope they will buy it back since it has so many issues. It is NOT wat was advertised.

If all you have a head unit and memory issues, you’ve got a tough road to hoe for a buy-back
