Swap Overland for Summit/Reserve Wheels

Might be a long shot but I have an overland and if anyone with a summit or reserve is miraculously interested in swapping wheels I’d like to make that happen ;)

Yeah my reason why I skipped the summit trim and got the overland. I like the front end better too.
Absolutely. The interesting thing is that they use completely different wheels in WL74 Summit Reserve, and those are great looking. Not sure how they botched the design so badly in the WL75.

Anyone considering this might want to look into pricing and availability of tires for the 21" wheels. Seems to mainly be street tires and snow tires, and the ones I've found (snow tires) were VASTLY more expensive because 21" isn't a common size.

What size are the wheels? I might be interested if you have the 18".

Has anybody seen a set of the 21” reserves for sale? I haven’t been able to find and I want them… would buy outright or swap for my summit 20” with a few bucks as well

I realized that looking for anyone selling replicas/alternate options. 21s don’t exist as a rim size basically

So funny everyone says what I’ve been thinking. What the fudge is up with these lame ass rims on the Summit? Last I checked plain aluminum painted wheels was something you did on low end trims. Only on a 60k plus vehicle would they do that! I like the overland rims better, and I hate the fact that they make the rims look like polished or even chrome on the website. Not that they try to make any color look even close to production when you do the jeep build (that is it’s own embarrassment). Then you get to the dealer and ask if there was a mess up on the wheels lol.

I’m considering painting my gloss black one they come. We ordered the Summit with the white/black two tone roof so gloss black rims so look sharp. Just no idea how much it would cost down here in Tampa FL and/or if it’s a good permanent thing or will it dull and/or fade or chip.

I thought about doing that myself but not crazy about gloss black rims when tires aren’t shiny…
Meh it’ll be fine! Glass black rims are being put on other trims of the GCL and my wife has a magnetic (dark grey) gloss rim on her current sport explorer. They look good even when tires are dirty.

Full disclosure: I’m coming from the Wrangler/Gladiator world where shiny rims and dirty tires are the norm so it doesn’t bug me!

Don't overlook finding some nice rims from some of the boys who have bought Wranglers and Gladiators - Where I live in East Tennessee, most of these guys are taking off their 18-20" factory rims and jumping up to oversized wheels and tires literally within 1-2 weeks of owning them. I am seeing practically brand new sets of rims with tires on them going for $350-500 on Craigslist and Facebook Marketplace. You can't even buy a set of cheap unmounted tires for that price. Between the Grand Cherokees and the Wranglers and Gladiators, they all have the same offset and 5x5 lug pattern. I got some Gladiator Upland 20" black wheels and got 275/55/20 Nitto Terra Grappler G2s put on them. I originally got them for the WK that I bought and they were only on the car for 2 weeks before it got smashed in an accident, so I kept them to put on the WL eventually as a winter/off-road. And then incidentally, when the street tires that are on my Limited 5-spokes have to be replaced, I have those 4 Bridgestone Dueller H/L tires below on standby to be mounted on my 5 spokes.
