Summit roof painted body color.

I have a Summit Rocky Mountain Pearl. I know the roof is supposed to be painted black, and I thought the fact I could not discern the Black from the Rocky Mountain Pearl was due to the fact that the latter looks black in the shade. While detailing my vehicle in the sunlight, I suddenly could discern the two colors- it seems the roof was not painted black as it should have been, but the vehicle was assembled with the black rear spoiler and sharkfin antenna.

To be honest, I have no problem with the roof being painted Rocky Mountain Pearl, but I want the spoiler and antenna to be Rocky Mountain Pearl as well. The paint job from the factory is great and I am hesitant to have the entire roof repainted at the dealer.

Do any of you have a Summit (other than Brilliant Black) with a body- colored roof? I don't know if I should call the dealer I do service with or call customer service.

Any advice would be appreciated.

I actually wanted, and tried very hard to get them to make me a SR with a body colored roof because I think the two tone is stupid, but I didn't want black because of how dirty they get. They wouldn't / couldn't do it and so I wound up with all black.

I appreciate your response (albeit sarcastic), but my question was would I be better off calling the dealer OR customer service. I should have added that my servicing dealer is different than the dealer I purchased my vehicle from(150 miles away)

In response to your actual question, it's really hard to see what you're talking about from the picture you posted because all I can see is reflections. I would try to take a picture looking straight down at it in direct sunlight right where the black would meet the body color. I've never seen the color you have in person so I don't know how close to black it is. Or, maybe if you take a pic of your antenna compared to your roof I can compare it to mine as that should be the same.

Before anybody is going to talk to you about resolution, you're going to have to prove to them what the issue is, so I wouldn't bother with customer service, because unless you can send them undeniable evidence that it's painted wrong, they're not going to do anything for you other than to tell you to take it to the dealer. I don't see what difference it would make which dealer you go to, so I would go to the closest one.

Regarding the color, Rocky Mountain Pearl is very dark and looks almost black in the shade. In my picture, if you look to the left of the gap and toward the bottom where the weather strip is located, you can see how Ricky Mountain Pearl stands out.
