Sport mode

Also lowers the car into Aero mode, ride feels a bit stiffer (you definitely feel more bumps in the road) I'm not sure if that's because its lower or there is some sort of damping change. I also think the power steering changes to sport mode and there is a heavier feel.

Definitely hurts the gas mileage though - ouchie.

I had a 2011 A6. I used the sport mode in the snow - it kept the vehicle in the lower gear, this has a huge benefit when driving down hill in the snow (didn't have to use the breaks to slow down). I realize Overland and Summit models have a snow mode - and when I first drive in the snow (live in the Philly area - no snow in site -- for now), I'll test the "snow" mode and the sport mode when traveling down a slippery hill. Once we get snow, and I get to test it, I'll report back.

I use sport mode when I feel like driving fast lol, my wife doesn’t like when I do it. The switch is within here reach on the passenger side so she turns it off

I’ll put her into sport mode and then raise the suspension back up to normal. Seems to ride better in normal height but not really scientific…

Regarding where the sport mode switch is: I don't know if it's available in all models, mine is an Overland. It's on the center part of the vehicle, it's very visible - again, if this option is available on your model.

I used it constantly in my 2015 Cherokee because that transmission totally sucked and this mostly fixed it.

I've used it some in the GLC but I clearly see that this vehicle is much better in auto than the 2015 was, so I don't really need to use it too much.

For me, it works best on winding roads and hills. It will hold gear longer instead of moving up a gear. I'm not the best at explaining/describing things, but there certainly are times where sport mode is much better than auto.

I was going to send a pic - but Immtbiker beat me to the punch -- yup, this is the pic.

I too drive in sport mode when traveling up and down twisty road here in PA. On the highway, Auto mode is fine. I'll never use the rock mode. Maybe once (in this vehicle's life time) I'll use the sand/mud mode. This winter (after the first snow of course), I'll give the snow mode a shot and see how it compares to the sport mode when going down slippery hills.

I found it, I have 4x2 overland, Found the sport mode on the right upper side above the radio screen. Didn't like driving with is as it really impacts MPG. Currently I am getting 20.2 MPG 60% freeway and 40% city after 895 miles.

It will definitely hurt your gas mileage. But try it in the snow (assuming it snows where you live), works well when going down hill (again, assuming you have hills where you live).

Would you please post a photo of it? Thanks!

Apparently, if you have Quadralift, it also has electronic dampers, which firm up the shock damping in sport mode (better controlled, less soft), in addition to lowering it to 'aero' height and changing the throttle and transmission response and firming up the steering effort.

"The class-exclusive Quadra-Lift air suspension features electronic adaptive damping"
