Remote Services Thru App Not Working

Similar issues with this Jeep app. Has not updated fuel or health in almost 50 days. Remote start and lock functions work fine. But it would be nice to conveniently see how much fuel is left and the health of the vehicle ( I posted a burning smell from vents in another thread). Left a 1 star review as well on the App Store. Called customer service where they stated they are having issues with the app updating. I told them “For 40 days you guys haven’t been able to fix this?!”
I have the same exact problem. Jeep has allegedly looking into my issue since December. I get a weekly via phone from a very pleasant representative stating that they ar still looking at it. I'm not at all satisfied with the lack of progress.

Yes, almost two months with no progress for the fix is unacceptable.

Here is the reply I just received from the Jeep app folks. @JeepCares what say you? One this reply makes no sense and two it’s not at all customer centric.

“First, your vehicle does not not have Vehicle Health Report/Info at this time. We are working to make this feature accessible to you in the near future. You will receive a communication once this has been resolved. Secondly, this Remote Operation issue is related to the telematics box module disconnect issue. The new Software update has been released to the Dealership. Please take your vehicle to a dealership to have your software updated. The service bulletin that your dealership may reference is bulletin number 08-174-21 REV. A.”

That is completely nonsensical. They obviously have no idea we had this feature available since the JGCL was released.

This bulletin did not fix my issue. Hopefully it will fix yours.

My replacement GCL is here waiting to be delivered to the dealer. Hopefully I’ll have it in a few days. I hope the new one doesn’t have all of these aggravating issues.
Nice. They gave you a replacement GCL? Were there other issues with your current one?

My 21 Overland was in the shop over 35 days in the first 3 months. My problems were mostly electrical issues associated with the UConnect unit. They replaced the unit and it didn’t help the issues. Jeep agreed to the replacement based on NC lemon laws. I’m paying the sticker difference.
I haven’t taken possession of the replacement 22 SR yet. Hopefully in a day or few…

Omg wow! I guess maybe we should have waited for the second year GCL lol. I’m glad that they were able to give you a replacement. Too bad you have to pay for the sticker difference considering you didn’t have a vehicle for over a month! Would be nice if they waived that for your inconvenience.

Thanks for the information. I gotta say, I wrestled quite a while between 21 and 22. I was mostly wanting to not ensure the order process and wait so long for a 22. While I was willing to make some feature compromises to get a 21 sooner, the addition of the passenger screen availability and the black appearance package for the 22 Limited pushed me to a 22. I am please with the order process so far and hope I will be rewarded for being patient…feature wise.

With regard to a 21 vs 22, the more I read this forum (which is way too much), it seems like the issues people are having are on the 21s. I would hope that some of those bugs (some seem more than bugs) are worked out for 22s.

I have thought more than once if I shouldn’t just abandon ship completely….the only hope is that the 21s are the issue and 22s will be better.

I hope you are right about them fixing the issues on the 22. Keep us posted when you receive the new GCL!

My 21 GCL limited is in the shop for this same software update and a shudder from 1st to 2nd gear along with some rattling issues from the 3rd row. Love the car but these minor issues are killing the experience

As of today, the Jeep app is now working! Health and fuel is all up to date. Finally!
Not for everyone. I just reinstalled mine. It’s still stuck on version 1.31.6. It won’t update to 1.4 that shows in the App Store. Nothing works. Remote services, health… none of it works. This app is indicative of Jeep lately. Everything seems to be hit and miss.

At least you can view Fuel level and vehicle health. Same thing g for me though. They asked for my Vin and I haven’t heard back from them

Damn I figured everyone’s was now working. I called uconnect Friday where they said they were working on it and were aware that the info wasn’t updating, but remote start and lock functions were still operable. I gave them the cars info/vin. They said they escalated the issue I was going to receive a call this week. Then, Saturday night I noticed it was fixed. Mine is still version 1.31.6.
 
On the Uconnect website it now says I have 0 services registered instead of the 9 I think it was before. But I can still start an lock using the app. Still haven’t been able to get the Wi-Fi to work though. Just says not authorized when I click on it in the vehicle
