Hi all,

For those who have completed purchase pls post your deals pls include price paid after discount (model, options, trade, any dealer add on etc.) and region.

I will start with the quote i received today on 2021 GCL 4x4 Overland w/bench seat

MSRP: $59180
Price after Discount: $57,996
Dealer add ons: $2,595
OTD: $60,591+TTL

After some haggling I said thank you and walked out. In a separate thread i will share my impressions as GCL is super impressive.

Deals? Some dealer tried to go 5.5k OVER MSRP for an Overland w/ lux4, Adv Tech 3, and 10 inch UC. I was stunned at the balls they have.

Not completed purchase, unit on order.

GC-L Overland with the major packages except Off Road Group which is not currently orderable or wasn't when I placed my order on 7/21. My purchase location is RI.

- MSRP $62860

- Dealer on the phone offer $60656 ($500 over invoice) on an order. MSRP for anything on the lot.

- Affiliate Rewards (Motorola retiree) price $59,554.44 (invoice minus 1%). Submitted control number and has been confirmed by dealer (he comes out slightly ahead too vs our phone deal).

- possibly less new $1K incentive 38CM31 $58554.44 (some but not all dealers in my area are listing this on their websites for the L).

Plus tax and registration.

Ordered 7/21, currently in D1 status.

Sounds like we have the same options, but mine is white. I wanted the O/R package as well, but to be frank, didn't want to wait. Good luck with your build.

Arrigo in FL said they would be adding 20k addendum to any GCL, ordered or on lot. Of course, they also tried to add a 30k addendum on the 392 we ordered in December and took delivery of finally last month. After an hour and several threats, they backed off. Needless to say, they aren’t getting any more of my business. I guess 7 vehicles in 15 years wasn’t worth it to them.

That's insanity. I hate dealers so much, such POS's.

You too! We need to flat tow behind our motorhome and currently the L Overland and up are the only trims with Quadra-Track II (has neutral for the transfer case) which is required to flat tow.

Just bought my Summit Reserve off the lot 1 week ago. Sticker was $66275 and they added a market adjustment of $8-9k so I walked out, waited 3 minutes and they brought me back in. After some haggling, I ended up about $500-$1k under sticker after selling them my Explorer ST for $2500 under what i paid for it new. I added my own "market adjustment" for $6k in positive equity after owning the Explorer for only 7 months and paying min. payments lol. 2 can play that game!

Purchased a Summit Reserve with MSRP of $66,275 3 weeks ago for just under $63,000. I used the TrueCar service online and then spent 4 hours at the dealership to have them honor the price. The car arrived on the truck at the dealership the day after I paid for it.

Bought limited off lot on 7-21 Msrp 55610 20 inch wheels, sunroof,10.1 screen, tow package, lux tech 2 package for 52649 plus state tax and doc fee. Was able to use ffp plan plus dealer knocked about 800 dollars to buy off lot vs waiting for my order which was stuck in limbo with no answers from Jeep on what the holdup was.

Bought GC L Summit, Baltic Gray, Black, sticker 62,875, dealer price 59,450. Sale on 8/14/21, Northern Indiana, 160 miles from home. I had Affiliate pricing effective 9/1/21, but dealer agreed to sell at that price immediately and wait for FCA’s hold back, 1% and 75.00 paperwork fee. I drove car off the lot the day we test drove it, three days after it was PDI’d and put on showroom floor. It’s a terrific and stunning vehicle.

I shopped carefully to get just what I was looking for, color and options wise. Some dealers were not willing to accept Affiliate pricing, but I found that as inventory opened up and Wagoneers began to come into the picture, dealers were more inclined to deal on GC L. It is so easy to get Affiliate pricing, it makes zero sense not to use this program - or, as in my case, work with the dealer to get them to accept the Affiliate price even if you don’t buy directly through the program. The key is to get the Control number and be able to show it to the dealer. I easily found three dealers that would accept Affiliate pricing without problem.

I had two previous Summits, one in 2015 and one in 2018 - best SUVs I ever owned. This one is head and shoulders better for many reasons. It’s just a wonderful vehicle. Getting 23.5-24 mpg, 2,000 miles on odometer.

Question about affiliate - I joined the access fund (>50 donation) over a month ago. How does using that for an affiliate discount work? Is there a way to get a control number in advance? I seem to remember seeing that with access fund the dealer has to call to verify after agreeing to honor it? Appreciate the help!

Once you join the fund you have to register with them, and then with FCA. You will then get a control number.

Just follow the instructions from the access fund and then FCA to complete the process. I sent it to my dealer already since my car is floating somewhere in the build stages and he wrote back right away and said this would save me a lot of money!

Good luck!
