Paddle shifters

When I tap the - or + it gives me a message that "Paddle shifting is disabled." In the manual it says there is a setting for it but I can't find it. Can you? Also, I tried pushing on the + paddle to re-engage them but that didn't work.

There is an option to disable the paddle shifter on my brother's 2022 Durango RT which has the same UConnect system so I don't see why they cannot do the same to the GCL.

Ping cause I am having this problem. The paddle shifters won’t respond at all. They just give a “disabled” error when i press the buttons. There is no setting I can find in the uconnect settings.

I remember seeing it and it was working at one point in time.

I have a, about a month old, SR 4xe.

I just had some work done on my 2021. I noticed the Uconnect system was updated (it now has that annoying Amazon Alexa button displayed at all times). On the drive home I tried using the paddles like I normally do and it gave me this same error saying they are disabled. Once I got home I went through all settings and couldn’t figure it out.

On an older Jeep I had you could disable them and I did on a 2019 model. I have a 2023 now and you cannot disable them, I wish I could

I found out from the dealer that this is a known issue and there is no current fix. When there is, it will be a software update.
Was there a confirmation that a fix was in the works, or was it just a maybe some day? It's a little concerning how the features and options on this model seem to be diminishing over time, even while the price is going up.

$tellanti$...profit is the #1 objective 🤑
Exactly. I still have a friend that works at corporate for Stellantis and he said they were all hot on trying to figure out what features they could sell on a subscription basis.

Wait yours are disabled already? Take that as a gift and don't bother fixing it. They are stupid to have in a land yatch suv.

I just heard from a dealer in the US that said dealer connect has eLSD listed as not available indefinitely. It seems ZF still provides this to Ford and BMW. Is there some reason Jeep won't offer it any longer? That seems to diminish the value of Quadra-Trac II. Also, for the Summit, which lists eLSD as standard, but is always deleted, just had the Advanced Pro Tech option go up $500.

We've been through this a few times. For some reason, even though they come from the same plant, it seems eLSD can be delivered to Canada, but not the US, though I'm not sure that's still the case today. It still shows up among the standard features, but in every Monrony I've seen in the US for the past few months, it shows up as deleted. Strangely, there's no way to tell that the order will have it deleted until it arrives. Even in the standard features for the Summits, it lists Quadra-Trac II rather than Quadra-Drive II . Also, the Trailhawk seems to be out of production, so something must be scarce from ZF.

For what it is worth, I can configure a 2024 Summit on the USA company car web site and it does include the ELSD. This is the only model that does include ELSD. Generally they do not allow you to configure anything that cannot be built.

lol where have you been the last 3 years. My window sticker from 2021 has parts listed that never even came on the car.
