Oil pressure (digital) gauge in off-road page, not working

Has anyone had their oil pressure gauge in the off-road page suddenly stop working in the radio/head-unit? All other digital gauges are working along with Long/Lat as well as altitude reading. The oil pressure pump is working and can be confirmed via the dash oil pressure (and more) reading screen. If anyone has experienced this and knows what is needed to resolve this issue could you let me know. I even tried the radio reset procedure often mentioned in this forum, still no change.

I was off roading today and it showed no oil pressure reading on the off road page. It showed normal oil pressure on the dash monitor (between the Speedo and Tach).

I did also check mine today and all it shows in off road are 2 dash lines in front of PSI, regular oil pressure gauge seems to read correct. This is on a 2022 Summit reserve, 3.6 litre, 2 row

Recently I was able to contact Jeep Connect and a tech about this issue. He stated my ‘21 GC L needed 2 TBM updates. He felt that this was the reason why the oil pressure gauge was not functioning properly in the off road pages app. The tech also said that this update must be preformed at a Jeep Dealership and can take up to two hours. I will make an appointment to get this done after New Years and hope the update resolves this issue. At any rate I‘ll post the end results after the updates are completed. Here is the telematics box module service bulletin number: TSB 08-183-22 (For Grand Cherokee L owners)

Just an update on the TSB updates my GC L recently had. I made and appointment to have the aforementioned service bulletin 08-183-22 uploaded and hopefully that would correct the off-road page digital oil gauge issue. Well the dealership spent most of the other morning with my Jeep doing the requested updates as well as an update to the electronic steering. Sadly this did not resolve the ORP digital gauge issue as it still is not reading the oil pressure. I'm not sure what the electric steering was supposed to resolve but there is no noticeable difference while driving the vehicle.

Lastest update on ORP app oil pressure gauge not working. I made connect with Jeep Connect services and told them that the TSB update didn’t seem to impact the status of the oil pressure gauge. Jeep Connect serviceman said we need to do a factory reset on the head unit. So after the service tech guided me to the location of that button I activated a factory reset. He informed me that all personal settings I had already entered which ultimately created a profile, would be erased. The vehicle will be virtually be like the day I picked it up from the dealer. The good news is, once the unit reset itself , I immediately pulled up the ORP and checked the accessory button and noticed the oil pressure gauge was working once again. These headunits/computers are nice when they work as intended but when they don’t, it’s a real pain. So this weekend I will be entering my preferences back into the system for the third time in order to recreate my profile.

Another update on this annoying ORP oil pressure gauge ordeal. It seems after the factory re-set boots back up and the ORP app comes back to the settings page, one will find that the oil pressure gauge works but the gauges were in a different color. I wasn't sure why the gauges had a different color in the graph portion of the gauge but I thought maybe it has something to do with my preferences or profile. I started to put my settings and preferences back into the system and at some point went to check my ORP accessory and found the screen had returned to the original graph color but the oil gauge was once again not working. This is one big pain ... I will be back in contact with Jeep Connect Monday and see if there is a true way of resolving this issue.

It appears that Jeep Connect sent an OTA fix for the ORP oil pressure gauge issue as recently as today. After reading a post from another blogger that his gauge was suddenly working once again, I then decided to check my ORP oil pressure gauge and it too was working. It will be interesting to hear if all GC L owners that had the same issue (since October ‘22) with their ORP oil pressure gauge, are now all working once again as intended.
