New update caused issues

New update happened and then everything was in metric like miles to kilometers, psi changes etc. I was able to fix all that but now the alarm for the forward collision system is on and won’t clear. Any ideas ?

Same problem here. For some reason the update reset all the settings. The metric units fixed themselves once my profile loaded, but the FCW/PEB OFF indicator light is on. I tried changing the settings for those two systems without success.

I have the same issues, FCW light, auto door locks disabled, and paddle shifter disabled. My warranty just expired in September and my local dealer that I have an extended warranty with told me I would have to pay for them to look at it. I found a dealer an hour away that told me if it determined to be from the over the air update, I shouldn’t have to pay for it. I have an appointment with them on Friday. Irritated the local dealer that I bought the Jeep from will not help me out.

Keep us posted if the dealer can fix this issue.

The dealer was able to fix the issue. I printed out the Star Online Publication Case Number: S2108000249 Rev. C and showed them. The person checking me in dismissed the publication so I left it on the passenger seat, the technician saw it and followed it. Even though it only shows the 22 Wagoneer/Grand Wagoneer, it described my symptoms exactly. The technician performed the reprogram of the customer programmable features and everything started working again (forward collision warning light off, paddle shifters work, and auto door locks work). The service adviser was very nice, but said he still had to charge me. He said he charged the minimum diagnostic fee which was $99.00. Capture.JPG

I did the same. Showed them the publication and convinced them to try it. Mine charged $195. Quite the racket. Update software over the air force a return to the dealer to pay for the reset. Will be sending a formal complaint to Jeep necause it is BS.

Jeep should be responsible to reimburse us. It is ridiculous they send out an update, mess up our vehicles and expect us to pay to have it fixed.

awesome. First they break your car. Then charge to fix the break. sounds like a ponsi scheme to me

So my wife’s did that a couple ago after an update, took it to the dealer and reprogrammed the car for free(10k out of warranty). Came out today and same issue again, Italian language and crash light on. Back to the dealer, I will bring the TSB with me.
