Mopar Maintenance Plan

Good day everyone,

After a long wait I'm about to take delivery of my 2023 Grand Cherokee L Summit Reserve.

I'm been contemplating purchasing the maintenance plan and was wondering everyones thoughts on wether it's worth it or not.

What's your experience with a pre-paid maintenance plan through Mopar?

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

You can buy the same package elsewhere, cheaper than most dealers. The max care packages can be found online cheaper. I think you can buy the oem extended plan up to around 30-35K miles.

You are always going to pay extra for these things because of convenience of having someone else do it. Personally sitting at the dealer for 2h waiting for them to finish is more of an inconvenience to me than just doing it in my driveway in 20min.

First 3 oil changes and they don't use synthetic, they will use conventional and screw it up. All while you sit and wait 2h for something you can do in 20min in your driveway drinking a beer.
Up to SIX oil changes & tire rotations during the 1st 36 months
15 minutes @Mopar Express
Who changes f'n oil in their driveway?

Sure, for you, but maybe BCB70 can't do it themselves yet or doesn't have a decent driveway.

depends on your personal preferences for convenience, peace of mind, and financial considerations. If you drive frequently or under more demanding conditions, such as towing or off-roading, a pre-paid maintenance plan can be beneficial but you can also compare Mopar's pre-paid maintenance plan with similar plans offered by other providers.
