Missing part?

I think these run at about $200 in aftermarket price.
That being said, the cost for Jeep is probably $30-40.
Even for a basic Laredo, which is not a cheap car for majority of the market, its kind of cheap to not include a cover.

My 57k limited did not have one. My god how cheap does a company get not to include one. Even a 15k Kia or Hyundai has a plastic engine cover. I also bought one then had to go back to get the proper screws. Pisses me off!!!! 57k and no engine cover!!!! Are you F##king kidding me

I’m guessing a supply issue forced this choice by jeep. But still how rediculas.

Hi, Mark15051. The Limited and Laredo trim levels to not come equipped from the factory with engine covers. We do apologize for any inconvenience this causes anyone.

I assume this was done to cut costs? Just seems a bit odd. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Can you give me a part number???
Sorry for the delay. I’ve been searching abs for some reason cannot find the part number on for 2021 on the mopar site. If you are close to a dealer just go to the parts department with your vin and say that you need and engine cover and the two top screws that go with it. Total should be around $35 with tax

Great info. Thanks for posting. I have been trying to purchase one for my 2022 Grand Cherokee WL74 (two row) but the part numbers are confusing with the WK still in production. Is the receipt posted for a WL74 -WL75 (3 row)? Thanks again
