Good question. I would like to know as well. Also, does it come with a button you press to activate the blue watt meters on the screen?

From what I understand that shows up when you’re using the car play from Android or IOS when you use the McIntosh app to play music.

For those who have it…what do you think so far?
My Summit R will have it (if they ever build the 5.7 I ordered). Saw a vehicle that had it at a showroom today and asked to listen to it. Sounds are crisp and well toned. Almost sharp, but new speakers should be worked up to louder volumes. Classical especially will be well served by it. My tastes run a tad more heavy. I wanted to play some Equillibrium (Mana is a great song to test). Of course, they wouldn’t let me “test” it out by turning it up to see about distortion.

Love the system. Worth it if you enjoy a premium sound system. Yes, you can select the option for the blue meters to be on the display.

Having come from many vehicles with the Alpine/Harmon systems a 2020 RAM Laramie, 2019 Grand Cherokee, 2021 Wrangler 4XE (Wife's), i can say the McIntosh system is phenomenal. Unlike the Harmon systems in the RAM's and other models, which left a little to be desired with the low's, (where the Alpine has always shined) the McIntosh handles all spectrums with ease. No matter how loud you turn it up it never distorts and is crisp and clean even if you crank the bass up to 9 (Max). So far its the best audio system i've heard to date in any FCA vehicle and rivals/exceeds much higher brands/models, worth every penny to me.

First thoughts. Its borderline great. Doesnt go as loud as you would think, but has almost zero distortion. Highs are crisp. Mids are a smidge muddled. Bass has some decent kick. So far i like it. I haven't messed around with the EQ or brought any lossless audio in yet, so it could all change when i get around to doing that. Also, the McIntosh meters are only for dBs and not Watts, which is mildly disappointing.
