Just interested in what else I might have to look forward too.

mine
1) service 4 x 4 light at 100 miles. Relatively quick software update fix. But still a trip to the dealership.
2) dead battery. Latch/ lift gate issue. 3 days a dealership
3) power steering issue. 3 weeks at dealership and counting.

Have an issue with my driver side front lower control arm. Dealer thinks I might’ve hit a pit hole or something but that’s not possible as I’ve been babying the car since I got it. Makes no sense that the control arm went bad this soon after just 1k miles.
Not to mention, it’s a jeep! A pothole shouldn’t be enough to break a control arm this soon. Really takes away some confidence I have in the vehicles off road capability.

1. Issues with front end making thud noise when hitting bumps.
2. Transmission shifts weird with audible click noise from 2nd to first
3. When wireless CarPlay does happen to connect, front left speaker does not work until typing in a destination on Waze.

Toggle back and forth between Waze and the app playing audio a couple times and it usually comes back. I think nav is setup to mute that channel to say a direction and Waze keeps it open.

Had it for 3 days (White/black roof Summit Reserve V8). 50 miles in, and only issue is the memory seats are not recalling the lumbar and recline setting. Kind of frustrating with 2 drivers and that feature being commonplace now a days its annoying for it not to work.

CarPlay connected no problem the first time and has been consistently connecting with 2 different phones. We bluetooth paired first and it then asked if you want to connect wireless CarPlay as well.

Ride is excellent, interior is amazing. I knew what I ordered, tested a loaded limited but never saw an SR in person and am really really impressed.

Another small issue for me is I ordered out of state and they reflexively ordered it with a front plate. Now that I took it off (FL) I have two holes in my front close out panel. I'm wondering how difficult it would be to replace the entire black panel, the part appears to be $70 online...

have about 800 miles on v8 overland, suddenly a few days ago second row drivers side seat will not go down by the button. (probably something mechanical, you can hear the servo kick in, but no motion)

I believe the lumbar support is not part of the memory function.

Well besides that, the recline should be. Every time I push the driver 1 setting it goes back to a more upright recline (basically driver 2s recline setting but not forward position). Even if I reprogram it to the correct setting right before, it still goes back. Very weird.

-Service 4wd light- (Hasn't come back since update)
-Phone Connectivity Issues- (Still has issue connecting after going in the shop twice now)
-Transmission Shudder at 10-20mph- (Dealer could not replicate issue so nothings been done on this yet. They think it maybe from the transmission breaking in)
-Also noticed our profiles have been a little wonky since the radio recall was preformed.

Hah yeah I have the same problem with the seat back memory. Every time I get in it moves more upright.

On a positive note the lane assist alarm and service 4x4 is gone and seat memory and easy exit has been working for 2 days. Knock on wood the issues don’t come back.

Curious if you got a fix for the 2nd to 1st downshift noise?

No, the got the infamous “could not duplicate the issue”. Which is BS because it did it when I drove there, and it did it when I left. They actually gave the same response for the noise from the suspension. Which it did it on the way back to the office. They installed a “different update” for the uconnect wireless CarPlay issue, and it still did nothing. So all in all a wasted trip.

Has anyone been offered a buy back? Has the offer included 100% of the purchase including tax?
I’m going in on Friday to have my front lower control arms replaced and just going to ask about a buyback. The list of issues with this thing is getting longer and longer and the dealers are basically useless.

That Land Rover defender is looking real good right about now…

To get all the features of loaded GCL in a defender is going to set you back nearly $90K.
