LED Reflector compared to the LED Projector Headlamps

I don't buy that at all. They are not projector lights. I am sorry, Jeep screwed that one up. I don't even think they are adaptive like they are telling you...
They actually are adaptive. My overland does light up the curve when I turn the signal on and start taking the curve. It is very noticeable. I have not done any hills yet, I've only had it for a couple of weeks, and we live in a pretty flat area...

Headlights are not adaptive. That extra light you see is your fog light turning on to help see in the turn.
You're exactly right, it's the fog light. It's not possible to have adaptive headlights without a projector lens. The Grand Wagoneer has adaptive projectors. The GCL Overland and Summit models should have had those same headlights.

I've installed LED spotlights on Overland/Summit and have also noticed that their radius of illumination is very large. Of course, because they are spotlights and not simple bulbs. Also, spotlights are designed to give out a beam of light, not spread it around, so you can see that their illumination is much better and denser. In recent years, I've bought spotlights only from vont.com. I don't know about the other companies named in this thread. I haven't tried anything else yet. I'm quite happy with Vont, so I don't switch to anything else. Try it, you won't have any problems or malfunctions with this firm, because they're famous for their reliability.

I bet they add adaptive projectors to the upper WL trims when they launch the new turbo 6 drivetrain in 2023 or 2024.

The engine will be announced at NYAS in April, but will probably only be available on the Wagoneer at first.

MY Jeep GCL Overland had BI-Function LED Projected Headlights as per the Sticker. They also move or turn on something when cornering. They are equal to my 22 BMW X3mc light wise.

Equipment Listing > Reflector HEADLAMPS
WL projectors NEVER made the cut...your window sticker's incorrect.
Only Wagoneers get projectors.

This is true despite what tne window sticker says. I actually brought the vehicle to a dealer after I first took delivery of my ‘21 SR and they and the manufacturer’ rep swore that they were projectors..

nope. I raised this issue when I first got my ‘21 SR. The dealership and the corporate rep swore to me that they were projectors and then sent the following attachment that basically defeated their argument. My ‘23 SR says that it comes with premium reflectors. They lied.

This I really need to see video of. I've never even seen a press car WL equipped with anything but reflectors. I've had various cars with 'cornering' HID projectors (including my wife's current BMW) and the WL headlights are all the same WRT the high/low beams. They do not turn with the wheel, and they are not projectors, which is disappointing at this price point. That said, no WL has EVER had 'active' projector headlights, unfortunately.

Blaming covid is a viable excuse for 21’ the launch. Stating the wrong equipment on sales propaganda, build sheets, windows stickers is a fraudulent lie. There is a difference… One of my sentences Jeep has continued to perpetuate since the WL launch, guess which. When is covid no longer viable excuse for everything wrong? If covid impacted parts and labor so much, why use substitutes and new/untrained labor, oh I know $.

When they truly care about selling them vs fixing them/making them whole with missing parts is the problem. Radios, hatch modules, glass, missing elsd, headlights, Jeep app/subscriptions, etc…

I think what this person is seeing is when you turn the fog lights will turn on automatically for the direction you are turning. They just think they have projectors and are assuming that's what they are seeing. They are not projectors like we all agree in this thread.
