KEY FOB LINKED TO PROFILE

Seems I am having issues with my key fob linked to different profiles. I set everything up in the setting and it works inconsistently. The way it should work is when I use my key fob the all settings for my profile should adjust to include seat, mirrors etc. After my wife drives I have been having to manually push the seat memory for the profile to change to mine. Any ideas ?

Mine does this and it annoys the crap out of me! I am hoping it is a software update. Even stranger, my wife last drove the car. I get in but we only have her key, so I figure I will just push my seat memory to adjust the seat but it will keep her profile in place. When I pressed my seat button, it popped up the "switching profiles" message, so guessing the seat button is a manual way of switching profiles? It should be tied to the key and nothing else, and it should start the switching process when it either detects the key or is manually unlocked. Ours does neither.

There were instructions on how to link a key to a profile and I followed them but I never got any sort of obvious confirmation that it did anything. I always wondered if the instructions were wrong because it doesn't seem to work the way I expected it to based on other cars that have key/profile association.

I am having an issue with the seat recall and connected to my keyfob. I've set myself up and linked the keyfob to my profile. Most of the time my seat/steering wheel stays in the same position when i turn the car off (i do have the seat entry/exit set on).

When the seat/steering wheel to go to the entry/exit position, when i start the car, either remotely or in the car. The seat doesn't move back into my position, even though the only keyfob in the car is mine.

Since my seat position is close to the linked profile, i sometimes don't notice until i shift the car into gear and the steering wheel (and seat) is in the wrong position.

I didn't have this issue with 2014 GC Overland.

Please help.

Thank you

I'm having a similar issue. Every time I open my door it lays the driver seat back. I can't get it to change with the memory settings.

They're replacing a bunch of hardware in my UConnect system and 'waiting' for a new software patch, apparently. This thing sure has a LOT of electrical problems.
