Jeep Grand Cherokee L order status updates….

welp, that was from official jeep so they’re opening themselves up if they’re making those claims.

The Dampener is built into the Air spring, so unless Stellantis was able to procure a different Air Spring I'm inclined to believe the JeepCares explanation

Jeep Cares explanation doesn't hold water. I've seen a window sticker that lists "Semi-Active Damping" in the equipment list. Then it shows a $750 credit for a deletion of " Air Suspension /Active Damping". That would indicate that they are two different features.

Jeep took out the Air Springs and put in a conventional spring, shock in it's place

They give you the same unit. Air suspension isn’t going away. The computer that enables adaptive damping/active damping is. That is why they are giving money back and changing the name to semi-active. They can’t legally call it active without the computer. No one just changes a name and then gives you money because they changed the name. The shortage of chips caused that part to be removed and the credit is due to that part NOT being in the car along with the change of name. Look at my picture above and you will see the credit. Any dealer can show you the same thing.

Isn't the Air springs the Quadra lift? And, Jeep Cares that only the name has changed. If they took out the air springs, that statement is incorrect.
The Credit is for both Air Springs and Active Dampening, apparently mine still has the Air Springs just no active dampening

Here is what I received from Jeep this AM. I have been absolutely hammering them for updates for the last week because I got rear-ended the week before and I need a new car ASAP. I hope this gives everyone some clarity around the airs suspension and elsd. I still don't have a build sheet and my car is still in D Status as of this AM.

Additionally, due to the ongoing global microchip/semiconductor supply constraints affecting the automotive industry, eLSD has been removed from all applicable vehicle builds. Any ordered vehicle that has been affected by this equipment removal will be credited back the value of the eLSD equipment. For financial details, please speak with your dealer. The customer Information Center does not handle financial details regarding vehicle orders. That duty is held strictly by our Stellantis dealerships.

We hope this information has been insightful and helpful to your needs. We will continue to monitor your order with the highest priority, and will provide updates as they become available.

When does the build sheet link work for a new vehicle? Mine is currently in D status got the update from the dealer today, does that not show up as a build sheet until it's in D1 status?

Ours just showed up yesterday, a day after ours shipped.

Dealer could probably just run a quick test and flip the dial and see if it raises and lowers... that would give a pretty quick answer

Just checking in to see if anyone on here who ordered a V8 has had any progress with their order lately? I ordered an Overland V8 and they keep saying the parts required are being scheduled and as soon as they are available and ready, the order will be scheduled for build. Just wondering if anyone else has seen any progress. Thanks.
