Jeep Grand Cherokee L order status updates….

My '22 SR V6 finally got built on Saturday! Interestingly, I have a window sticker but not a build sheet (no deletes on the sticker!). Jeep Chat confirmed it has been released by the factory and is waiting on transit to Northern VA. The sticker shows a noticeable price hike since I ordered it back in October of ~$2100 though. Seems to be the case with stickers I've seen over the past few days. Hopefully the dealer will stick to the original pricing since I have a signed sheet with all pricing + taxes already. Looking like transit takes anywhere from 2-4 weeks?

We are in same boat, I have a buyers order from the dealer for 69295, but the window sticker via the jeep.com site is $71480. I am really hoping the actual sticker is the lower one, maybe the jeep.com is generic based upon options, with today's pricing?? Maybe its not smart enough to recognize the dates and pricing changes.

No update from the dealer….starting to think updates on orders are not their thing. Hit up Jeep.com chat again….

1/11 - ordered at Dealer and got VON
1/13 - Got VIN
1/14 - All materials needed to start the build are being gathered
1/19 - All materials needed to start the build have been received. The vehicle should be entering the build process soon.
1/21 - The Jeep is in the scheduling phase with all parts gathered and it’s waiting for the build to begin. At this time we do not have an estimate and I’d recommend checking back in three to four weeks for an update.
1/21 - Sent email to the dealer looking for an update.
1/23 - I can see all the required materials for your order have been gathered and the plant has sequenced your order for production, it should be entering the build very soon! We do not have access to the actual sequence order but it is on a schedule! The build sheets tends to generate toward the middle or end of the build.

Progess!

Mine has been moving much faster than the Dealer said….but, I get they have to be conservative.

FWIW….I am hopeful of the same and hopeful that this “purchase contract” I signed is somewhat enforceable…

For those of you who are seeing higher prices, did your dealers provide a POC based off the 2021 numbers? My window sticker is spot on to the pricing my dealer provided me when I placed my order on 10/20. They actually provided me the POC for the exact same build on a 2021 and 2022 so I was able to see the difference before confirming, which was about $2200 as others have stated. Curious as to why some folks are seeing higher than expected numbers, because if that were me, I wouldn’t be super excited.
My quote is off the 2022 prices. Jeep raised their prices again a couple of weeks ago on the 2022s. My dealer and I had agreed on a price when I ordered it and that is the price I’ll pay even though it increased about $2200 recently.

My 22 GCL SR finally got unloaded at the rail yard in Winston Salem (Walkertown) on Saturday. Hopefully I will be driving it in a few days or so. It’s going to be hard to wait…I live about 15 minutes from where it is.

Mine as well, I know my pricing was off the 2022 pricing because I about spit my coffee out when he told me the price vs the 2021 he ordered for another client. The jump from 2021 SR to 2022 SR was a fair amount - Now a price increase for new buyers as well as $1000 rebate for 2021s really puts a big gap in price between years.

Wow that’s crazy! Maybe I got lucky since my POC and window sticker are showing the same MSRP of $68,900 (vs $66,695 for the same 2021 SR).

A good friend took delivery of his Aug 21 order of a 21 SR about two weeks ago. His out the door price….$64k. Pretty sure even the stripped down 22 SR are not $64k.

My base price is $60,865; 22U package is $4000; Pro tech group IV is $1995, Luxury Tech group V is $245.
Mine is about the same as yours except I also got the black side steps. My total price is $70, 595.

My pricing is in line with @Buldawg. I've attached my 2021 POC, 2022 POC, and my 22 window sticker for our SR V6.

We have identical vehicles. Yours must have been built before mine on 1/20. Mine shows the price increase of about $2200. My quote was on a MSRP of $68,900 like yours.

Ours was unloaded from the rail car today. Lets see how long it takes to make it to the dealership ~40 miles away 😂
I lined up my financing today and spoke with the dealer, yes, our Jeeps were indeed rail buddies :) He's still estimating 2 weeks though, I hope he's just trying to be a Mr. Scotty miracle worker.

I think the big difference between the '21 and the '22 SR's is the passenger screen - I haven't seen it as an option yet on other trims, but it's well over a grand on the Wagoneer's for essentially the same thing.

Still waiting for my dealer to contact me about that. They said they would call once the vehicle actually arrives to finish up the financing/numbers. Their current ETA is between today and 2/7.

Wow, I hope you love it :) Since it's usually just me in the Jeep, I probably won't get much use out of it, just on road trips with the wife. Don't know how useful it will be using Android Auto either...
