Any idea as to why it's taking so long? Is it going to be a 2023 model? I ordered mine on Feb. 22 and picked up on April 30th. Build process is pretty quick, then the shipping and delivery to dealership takes a bit of time. Good luck.

No idea. My salesperson sent me a text on 5/04 letting me know I finally moved into D1 status with an estimated ship date of 5/21. That was followed up with a text on 5/17 letting me know that the ship date had been changed to 5/24.

Now the Jeep tracking tool shows it just entering production on this holiday weekend. I discussed the possibility of Jeep bumping me into the 2023 model year, but they said that they doubt it and the Jeep tool still shows it as a 2022 vehicle. I also don’t know how accurate this new tracking tool is. I’ve been on JL, JT, and Wagoneer forums and they’re having all of the same production issues. If I recall correctly, someone posted a screenshot of their production tool showing no progress but said that their vehicle had been delivered to the dealership that day.

I’m not sure if it’s options I chose or where it’s being shipped to. My dealership has sold most of their WL74 and WL75 stock. At this point I honestly don’t care. I’m driving a 2021 80th WK2 that has everything I want in it. The only reason I ordered the WL75 was because it was what I originally wanted when the chip issues delayed production of the model originally and prolonged the life of the WK2. At this point I’m just posting updates for reference for other people who check these forums. 😁👍

Update! My build sheet was available to me when I woke up this morning. The Jeep build tracking system still shows me in production.

Everything looks as it should on the build sheet. The only thing I found intriguing was that there was at least one D1 to D regress that was never relayed to me. It also shows "Special scheduling condition VII", but a quick Google search shows that doesn't really mean all that much.

Edit: Dealer says vehicle is showing as in transit.

Is this an email update you received from Jeep or did you look this up on jeep.com? I've only received one email from Jeep and it wasn't until my jeep was built and ready to be shipped.

Anyone else experience long shipping delays after your Jeep was built? I live in Texas and my purchase order listed “Zone 63- Dallas” so I’m assuming it will go by train to Dallas and then by truck to my dealer....but I’ve been in KZM status (first rail departure) for almost a month now and can’t get any info as to why which makes me really anxious, especially given all the different traffic codes there are as well as all of the reasons I’ve heard for orders being delayed.

Ordered a 2022 GCL Summit Reserve – white w/black top and everything in it but the Hemi.

1/31 - Vehicle Ordered: Purchase order confirmation showed status as “D”. VIN assigned.
2/18 - Jeep Chat Update: “D” Status
2/28 - Jeep Chat Update: “D” Status
3/14 - Jeep Chat Update: “D” Status – representative indicated they would “send my vehicle order higher up for review”.
3/25 - Dealership Update: Moved to “D1” status and had an assigned ship date of 4/6
4/1 - Dealership Update: Still in “D1” status but the estimated ship date moved back to 4/19
4/4 - Jeep Chat Update: Moved to “D2” Status. Estimated shipping date of 4/19 but no estimated arrival date to dealer.
4/11 - Jeep Chat Update: Moved to “E”. Being built
4/19 – Build Sheet Available
4/21 - Dealership Update: Moved to “KZ” Status. “Released by plant and dealer invoiced but not shipped yet.” Window Sticker available.
4/25 - Jeep Chat Update: Still in “KZ” Status. “It’s ready for the road but we lack any ETA- please contact your dealer for those details.”
5/6 - Dealership Update: Moved to “KZM” Status with ETA of 5/9-5/23.
5/20 - Email from Jeep (info@brand.jeep.com)- “The wait is nearly over. Your jeep has been built and is getting ready to be shipped.”
5/27 - Dealership Update: Still in “KZM” Status – no ETA.
6/2 - Dealership Update: Still in “KZM” Status – no ETA.

Is this an email update you received from Jeep or did you look this up on jeep.com? I've only received one email from Jeep and it wasn't until my jeep was built and ready to be shipped.

That specific post was from the Jeep build tracker. My dealership is also telling me it's in transit. I didn't ask for specific codes.

It sounds like you've had a long delay. KZM is first rail, so maybe it's sitting on a train somewhere? The dealership should be able to give you more specific information. Also, it very well may be delivered on 6/09. It seems like sometimes Jeep drops the ball with vehicle tracking. I've seen that once it leaves the plant it's basically out of Jeep's control. 🤞for you that it's just them slacking and your Jeep shows up on time. 👍

My latest update is that production is completed on my vehicle. On 6/01 my build sheet went live. On 6/02 my window sticker went live. My dealership says the vehicle is in transit. I didn't ask for codes or anything. The Jeep tracker is no longer showing a delivery ETA. The dealership is saying it should be here before the end of June.

Once again my build is a 2022 Overland L in Baltic gray with the 5.7L engine, Advanced protech III, and Luxury tech group IV with a window sticker price of $70,550. I did not opt for the passenger side display or the second row bench seat.

Update! The Jeep went to in transit status on 6/10. My dealership told me that it's at the rail yard as of today. Almost here hopefully 🤞

The Jeep finally arrived today! Handed over the keys to the WK2 and brought the WL home. 😁
