Jeep Grand Cherokee L Cross Bars Question

I'm not sure how sturdy they are (OP link), but you can always send them back. The photos on the Amazon also show the Jeep GCL Breckinridge concept vehicle, which isn't even the same bar as in the post... which means this is probably cheap Chinese stuff. But it might be good enough for your use.

I originally bought the Yakima setup, but don't like how high it sits above the roof, so I ordered the Rhino Rack low rise towers for the Jeep Compass (same fit, just width is a bit more). I just got them and should have them installed this weekend.

Below is a photo with the Yakima bars.

Another thing for anyone to consider is whether they want the bars that fit flush to the towers (like OP's link), or the kind that stick out (like the Yakima/Thule/Rhino Rack setups). Some like the bars that stick out for the ability to carry more, or use the protruding bars as outward tie-down points (can be handy, and allows wider loads, eg lumber, roof box + bikes, etc).

If the bars in OP's link are decent quality, and you don't want the protruding bars, these look like they sit a little lower than the OEM setup, and lower is nicer aesthetically IMO.

Yes, I don't want the protruding bars,Because it looks unattractive, and this bars really cheaper.

As your said, Is 2022 Jeep Compass the same roof size as Grand Cherokee L ?
The crossbar of the compass can be used on the Grand Cherokee L?
Thank you so much!

I doubt the crossbars are exactly the same length (maybe?), but the mounting points are the same. The bars in OP's link appear to be adjustable in length to some degree, so it's likely they'll work fine.

Has anyone bought Grand Cherokee L cross bars on amazon? I'd like to buy a set for long journeys. It's much cheaper than OEM's. Is it worth buying? Attach links: Grand Cherokee L Cross Bars. View attachment 2049View attachment 2050
Just installed the Amazon bars. $189. They fit perfectly. SNIXWOO was the brand on Amazon. No sound or whistle at all. They look like normal factory bars on other SUV's. I had the Mopar factory bars and did not like how tall they sat and they made noise. I returned the Mopars after one day with them. These are way better in my opinion. Highly recommend.

Does it make a lot of wind noise?
