We got it back yesterday, so far, working as it should have. Latch was replaced, I can post the work summary.
My advice, be patient, understand the part is back ordered, with my situation the dealer was able to escalate, get Stelantis leadership involved, connected me with a retention specialist. I remained calm, professional, didn’t ask for anything, I asked for everyone involved to just do what’s right by me, assuming they were in my situation.
So far, the dealer and Stelantis/FCA, well, they are taking care of us, above and beyond my expectations, it was very worth having to deal with not having the vehicle for a month and the numerous headaches. Be patient folks, it pays off, literally.
