Jeep continues to build 2022 4xe?

As of Dec 16, Canadian supply has far exceeded demand as 2022 production painfully continues. 😖Screenshot (81).pngScreenshot (82).png

They have started production on 2023 4xes now. The last 2022s are still making their way through the pipeline, though.

(Not that there’s any significant difference between them…)

There are 2055 2022 GC 4xe's within 250 miles of me. So who knows how many are sitting on dealer lots for the whole USA. There are 328 within 25 miles of me. So far I have not seen a single one on the road here and I do try to spot them.

Even @dealer invoice, I wouldn't consider one of these overweight $lug$.Screenshot (83).png

To be fair, they just started delivering a few months ago as the threat of economic gloom and higher interest is being felt. If the had a bunch built, waiting on a part or something, I could see a surge in inventory. We have 2 row Summit and it’s still rare that we see one on the road. That said, honest reviews about performance and economy of the 4xe make it a tough sell for that kind of money. Jeep seems to be doing everything it can to push them. Limiting options on other trim levels.

I just got myself a MY22 GC Trailhawk 4xe a few weeks ago. With the incentives & rebates, the deal was just too good to pass...

Dealers will have to dump '22 4xe's @invoice to get them off the lots...residual value will be brutal....wait a few months for a massive recall.

The current lease deals in the U.S. on the 4xe are phenomenal though. I got $12,000 off sticker (rebates, discounts & tax-incentives) which had a significant impact on the lease payment.
