High Beam Recall Y66

Has anyone gotten this recall fixed yet and were you able to toggle your high beams on and off while in the Auto Position afterwards?

Recall Y66-
The high beam headlamps on about 7,000 of the above vehicles may not respond to requests from the high beam switch. If the master lighting switch is set to the auto
position, activation of the high beams requires turning the master lighting switch to "ON" and then toggling the stalk.
The inability to conveniently activate high beam headlights may result in reduced
visibility for the driver, which can cause a vehicle crash without prior warning.
The condition above fails to conform to the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle
Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 108 S9.4 – Lamps, reflective devices, and assoc.
equipment.

I had mine fixed and the Dealership is stating that the fix is "to remove the Auto High Beams option on the radio and still not be able to toggle the High Beams while under Auto".

It seems weird that the solution they gave me was also the issue they were "fixing".

Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the replies.
I’m not sure why my service center is saying that after the fix, you can’t toggle high beams at all when in auto.
Btw, don’t waste your time ever calling FCA. That was a waste of time and their customer service couldn’t care less about actually helping.

Thanks again!
