Has anyone had the latest software loaded by your dealer? Did it help?

I had it installed and the off rod peg came back. Can’t really tell about anything else.

Good morning!

To find the software information for your Uconnect system, you can follow these steps:

Go to “Vehicle Settings” then select “ System
Information” and look for “Radio version”

If you have any questions, feel free to let us know!

My car does not say radio version
It says
Model
Android version
Android security patch level
kernel version
Build number

So confused, I had the update and Off road page came back for over a week. Yesterday the off road page was missing again only to come
back today. WTF is really going on.

Try switching to another profile and then back. No idea why it works, but it worked for me.

I have the exact same version.
By reading some of the comments, seems to me that there are two complete different versions, one for 8.4 systems and another for 10.1 systems.
Uconnect site keeps displaying that for my VIN there is no recall nor update, I have a GC L Altitude.

I received the update OTA on Wednesday. Wireless CarPlay still will NOT connect more than it does connect.

can't you get the update without going to the dealership? if you allow software updates over wifi, does it update properly?

The update didn’t immediately bring back the off road pages for me. After getting the update at the dealer, I got home and did a factory reset and it came back.
Wireless Carplay seems to connect better than it did before but still pretty inconsistent.
in car Wi-Fi doesn’t work and the weather app doesn’t update. Resetting to factory defaults didn’t seem to fix that.
At the dealer now and they said they’ll try a software update. Let’s hope it fixes it!

I recently lost the off road pages on my Uconnect center display. I have also had a few connection issues with my phone and my wife's phone.
Talking with my dealer, it sounds like they have a new software package to load which is part of the rear view cameral recall.
I'm scheduled to get it installed on Thursday. In the mean time I'm curious if anyone else has had the new update loaded and if it fixed any of your issues?

thx
I had it installed a few weeks ago. Fixed some created several new. Center screen turns off when you turn car off but does not restart when you re start car. Speed sign recognition not working when center display turned off. In CarPlay screen goes blank won’t restart. Must reboot Uconnect system every so often as it goes walkabout and nothing works.

I have an appointment for a service recall, I’m going to have them update the radio. I can do any updates over WiFi. Nothing happens. Nothing pops up. It’s almost as if my car is running an android based version of unconnect.

I've opened a case with "Heep [doesn't] Care" and I don't even get ANY responses. You guys and your product are an absolute JOKE. The amount of defects I have, and the number of problems others are reporting is absolutely REPREHENSIBLE. Months of ownership and NO SOLUTIONS.

This car should never have been released. It's half baked, we're all beta testers, despite paying full MSRP. The assembly lines can't even put HVAC ducts together FFS. Failing power steering, 4x4/AWD, driveshafts falling apart, electrical gremlins so prolific these cars must be infested with poltergeist, and little or no followup from Heep. $80k I've sunk into this car, and my whole family is miserable, MONTHS ON END. This should have been a JOY, and instead it's a horrible part time job. And NO offers of reparations, no 'how can we make this up to you', no communications re solutions or timelines from Heep, it's the most awful disappointment I've had in my nearly fifty years. Divorce was less disappointing.

"Email your teams privately". LMAO. Why? To save you the embarrassment? You don't reply anyway. I may as well yell into a roll of toilet paper while I'm browsing Chevy's website. So many people are having issues, the best course of action is public discourse so that the legions of affected owners can advise their dealers, who are also in the DARK.

Stop producing these lemons, make use of the good parts and make lemonade out of the customers you've already hosed. Train your factories to put these things together right. This vehicle is an abomination of epic proportion with regard to quality control.

MAKE. IT. RIGHT.

Yea, this is a mess. It started off with I don’t knows and after going thru hell and back taking to everyone and drop offs at the dealer we settled for an update will be released soon. Well “soon” has now passed so what’s next? How long does it take to get some people together to fix software code that’s working in new vehicles that are currently being sold?? This forum is just an echo chamber.

My electrical problems come and go all the time. Some are constant (no nav, no wireless CarPlay, no XM) and dozens of others just come and go. Last night, my TPMS sensors started working for about 20 minutes, after not working for the past six weeks (they are WK2 sensors and apparently aren't compatible, so I've been waiting on WL sensors, backordered like everything else). But suddenly, they were just working, out of nowhere. Sometimes the liftgate won't go up or down with the power motor, most times the foot sensor opener doesn't work, HVAC is a massive mess... the list of inconsistent electrical defects on this car is astounding. You'd think it was flood damaged.

If I had been given a 50% discount for beta testing, I might say it's worth it, but this is not remotely in line with 'minor first model year teething problems' I had expected.

I'm interested in seeing if and when they address all of the flaws that you've listed in your posts before I decide to order a 2 row Overland. I can understand how an all-new design might suffer from some new launch hiccups, but the issues you've cited are so diverse it's hard to tell if there are design issues with electrical, mechanical and/or software components, or if it's a manufacturing, or a parts source issue. Since you indicated they agreed to replace your radio, which I assume is what they call the Uconnect/Android host, and that seems to be the OS for everything, I wonder if that will clear everything up .

If it's one or more failed components, they should fall all over themselves to replace these for you. Even if parts are scarce, they should honor their claims to a paid customer before addressing new ones. So their response to you will help determine if there are fundamental design flaws with this model, whose features are appealing on paper, but that may not withstand full scale production or real world use. While many others have listed similar problems as you, the range that you have described, in an articulate, patient, cooperative and now understandably feisty way, should warrant their full attention until it's solved for you. I gather they already can't keep up with demand while in their novelty-factor honeymoon, (though it seems some buy backs are in the works), but I'll need to see them stand behind this product before I order one.
