Grand Cherokee WL74

I ordered my 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit (2 row) on November 19, 2021. Not a peep from Jeep yet as far as scheduled production and delivery date. The dealership did tell me the Jeep had been assigned a VIN number. Because of chip shortage, I have no clue when I will get the Jeep. Has anyone else been able to take delivery of a 2022 2 row GC?

Dr Phil, I am in the same boat, ordered a 22 GC SR V6 on 12-22-21 status has not moved since then, appears to me that maybe v8s have been given priority, hope that's not the case.

Dr. Phil, I am in the same boat as well. Ordered my 22 GC Summit V6 (2-Row) on 12/1/21 and I am still in the gathering parts phase (D status). Frustrating to see on the dealer's website that they ordered 2-Row GC's at the beginning of January that are either being built or in transit, yet I am still in a gathering parts phase. A few Limiteds with V6 engines are on their way or on the lot already. Summit Reserves are ahead of mine in the build production or in transit with V8's and more technology than me. So it can't be a parts shortage or engine issue.

The limited is going to be the best seller, as it appeals to the largest group of buyers. That is why dealers order more of them for their lots. I speculate that they are building the reserves first because there is more profit in them for FCA. What puzzles me is that I read that once a VIN is assigned, it means they have the parts available for the build. I have a VIN, but nothing else. They are taking my 2014 GC in on trade and have given me a trade in value and are allowing me to keep driving it until the new one comes in. I can't complain about that. Put the miles on the old one while continuing NO car payment. I guess my impatience is like the kid in the toy store who is told the toy on display is not for sale.

My 2022 Jeep GC S/R was ordered on 12/15/21, and it's still in D Status. I'll be so ecstatic when it moves on! I received a letter on January 26 welcoming me to the Jeep family and that they'll notify me when there's a delivery date's established. I'd have thought that surely by now I'd have some news.

How goes the progress on this groups 2 row S and SR V6's? I hoping someone's received some good news!
My WL74 Summit was ordered on 12/1/21 and on March 9th I was informed by the dealer that it was in Trim stage. March 11th I spoke with Jeep chat that it was scheduled for Deliver between March 24 - April 7th. I don’t have it yet and I haven’t heard anything more from the dealer.
