WHY did they screw up the Overland wheel design? They got it right with WK2 and the WL Overland wheel is a step backwards - the spokes should radiate out in a slightly angled way, not just a straight line. This is what the it should look like, the WK2 wheel part 5XL061STAA (see attached). The photo is taken at an awkward angle, but it does it in fact angle out from the center, which makes it look nice.

I get that it's a very subtle thing, but Ralph needs to make sure his teams get stuff like this right.

At least the WL Summit wheels look ok...guys I have to say the wheels for WL are disappointing, other than Summit. They are a step backwards from WK2.
It's funny since I made a comment above in this same thread about liking the 20" Overland wheels way more than the 20" Summit.
Did you mean you the 21" summit reserve wheels? Then yes I agree those are the ones that look the best in my opinion :)
No one is right or wrong on this, its subjective.

Are you referring to 20' Overland vs 20' Summit wheels on WK2?

So this (WK2 Overland) -

vs. (WK2 Summit)

Between these two, I still prefer the WK2 Summit wheel. That Overland wheel is a bit too busy for my tastes. They reused that design from the 2017 25th Grand Cherokee anniversary Edition.

In regards to Grand Cherokee L (WL75) wheel comparisons -

WL Summit Reserve (which for some reason is absent in the build and price) -

Yes, I very much like the Summit Reserve wheel.

Out of all the WK2 vs. WL wheels, the WL Summit Reserve is my 1st choice, followed by WK2 summit.

summit reserve wheel is nice!! glad to see it is different.

This is from the press release "The tires are flush with the body side to showcase signature trapezoidal wheel arches and, for the first time on a Grand Cherokee, 21-inch wheels come standard with the Summit Reserve Package."

Agree with your comments. 21" Wheels on the Reserve are my 1st choice.
WK2 Summit > WK2 Overland
WL75 Overland > WL75 Summit
I would go even further:
WL75 20"Limited > WL75 Summit

Great news! My dealership confirmed yesterday that the build and price for the L will go live on the Jeep website on April 1st!

Just ordered mine. For reference, 25U is the Summit Reserve quick order option w/5.7L V8. 22U is the SR with V6.

I just got told that my dealer can’t order a 4 x 4 model right now? Anyone else been told this? He said only 4 x2

Not sure why they would say that unless they’re just telling you that’s there inbound allocation and they aren’t willing to special order. I did have dealers give me different dates that they would be able to special order, some saying they “couldn’t” until June. They I found one that was willing to put in exactly what I wanted same day with deposit. I didn’t have any issue ordering Summit 4x4 with 25U (Summit Reserve V8)

I think you might need to give it some time, I think they are still updating the site. From what I gather, I think the Summit Reserve L might be a limited edition, I don't really know
Jeep has failed with the build tool. The fact that you cannot build one of the two models that they unveiled in JANUARY is disappointing. Not to mention the color of that model that was unveiled is not available on the Summit but rather the Laredo. WTH?!?!

Agree, they have failed with the Build tool. It's expected there will be issues but they should avoid launching something that dealers are unable to order and viceversa, not providing choices on the Build tool that are indeed available on the dealer side.
Kudos to Jeep.ca because their Build tool is accurate to what each trim includes. They even have the Build available for the Summit Reserve.

Weird, on the Overland now you can't get the 60/40 second row if you want either the Luxury Tech or ProTech packages.

And on the Summit you can only get the 60/40 second row if you choose the V8 engine. I can't tell if they're doing this on purpose or if it's just a buggy mess.
