Damping System Service error?

I do not expect much response here at this forum is pretty much dead but I will post anyway.

On 9/4 I got an error in the Jeep app about a "Damping System Service Alert" and I need to take it into the dealer. I have no check lights, no messages, no codes pulled from my own ODBII scanner and the vehicle seems fine. It had 200 miles on it when this happened. I made an appointment with the dealer for next week. Since then on another Jeep forum I am a member of and which is far more active than here, there are hundreds of people having the same issue. These people range all the Jeep models and mileages from 7000 to low miles like me and all started 9/4. Those who have been to dealers said the dealers are clueless as to what this is. There is a FB group for WL74 owners, same thing, same error on 9/4. My suspicion is this is some screw-up in the Jeep aap which is a piece or garbage at the best of times. If you have this error, please post.

I have had similar issues. First thing to check is if there is a leak. When it leaks it will overheat the pump causing an error and the vehicle not rising to the appropriate height. This can usually go unnoticed as if it's a slow leak things will probably work correctly 80% of the time.

Other things that could go wrong include, blowing out an air bag or having the ride height sensors go bad.

It is none of those things, the car is brand new as I said. This alert appeared on 9/4 to literally hundreds of people with vehicles that do not even have an air suspension all at the same time. This is very suspicious that this is some error on the Jeep Connect app. The web login for the the Jeep Connect app does not even list the Damping System at all.

Jeep dealer confirms that nothing is wrong and there is an issue with the Jeep Connect app.
