Has anyone seen any options yet for cold air intakes for the 5.7's?

I have been an afe guy all my life but have not seen anything available from them yet for the WL's.

@MichaelFach could you provide an update on how the AFE is working out?
Update is they haven't shipped yet...

I ordered one in June and never got a shipping notification. AFE Rep said "Oh, it will be available next month" I was pretty annoyed so I canceled my order. I'm glad I did, cause this is what the website says as of today...

"Available August" :ROFLMAO:

Very nice, I’m excited to hear if you feel/hear the difference!
I'll let you know.
I'm supposed to receive it on the 8th.
I'll tell you what made a big difference is the Pedal Commander I installed about a month ago.
This is from there website:
The Jeep Grand Cherokee offers a number of positive attributes. It's big and comfy, plus it has class-leading hauling and true off-road capability. We especially like its well tuned sophisticated driving aids, which make driving easier and safer.

With a Pedal Commander, though, the Jeep Grand Cherokee will become the ruler of the highways. This little Jeep Cherokee performance part is not only beautiful, but it also works wonders if you want to increase the speed of your Jeep Grand Cherokee without hurting the engine. It will only take 15 minutes to set up and is quite easy. For further information, select your Jeep Grand Cherokee body and engine.

Update: Ordered the “AFE MOMENTUM GT COLD AIR INTAKE SYSTEM W/ PRO 5R FILTER” two days ago and i received a notification it had been delivered today. Seems like they are stocked on them at the moment. I should be installing it over the next few days.

I reordered the AFE last week and the intake arrived yesterday morning. So they are definitely in stock and shipping now.

Hopefully picking up my replacement 23 GC V8 today or tomorrow and will throw the intake on this weekend. Just waiting for the buyback paperwork to complete.

I'll post before and after sound clips for everyone. I'm hoping someone beats me to it so I can hear it!

Got the new car this afternoon and threw this thing in. Took 30 minutes.

The AFE instructions are terrible and are missing several steps. I'll do a writeup over the weekend to cover some gotchas. Will post some videos later on after the engine is broken in. My initial impression is the build quality of the intake is solid and everything fits nicely.

Can definitely tell the sound difference, even below 3k RPM. Can't wait till I can open it up!

So I wanted to wait a week to let the whole thing break in. Here's a link to the album on Google at the bottom .First 2 videos are with just the intake 1st one is windows up, second windows down.

The 2 night videos are the same with the exhaust installed ( same stretch of road ) and the 3rd is a highway pull.

I will say the first few days I was not a fan at all. Apparently the baffles needed to break in ( according to multiple mechanics ) and it had a very metallic sound when I got on it. Now, after a couple days, it's much deeper and I really like it. No droning at all. My favorite part is the upshift sound at full throttle, sounds great! Overall I'm pleased with the purchase.

The mechanic that installed it told me it was extremely well made and he was impressed with the build quality. He works on performance cars exclusively so I was happy to hear his feedback. Second mechanic said virtually the same thing.

Let me know if anyone has questions. Overall, I'd give this an 8 or 9 out of 10.
