Where’d you order the “under spoiler” parts from? Everywhere I order them from the order ends up being cancelled because they’re out of stock.
I ordered it from moparfixers.com, but I just got an email from them (non-automated) saying those three parts are backordered with no ETA. They also want to charge more than the site calculated for shipping, so I asked them to just cancel the order. Pretty pissed off. I don't recommend anyone do business with them, based on that bait and switch alone.

Here's their email:
Hello,

Just to make you aware, three of the parts ordered are on backorder with no ETA, which I have updated on the order. The other thing, I will most certainly have to charge much more than quoted by fedex. These parts are almost all "oversized", which will be an additional charge as well.

With body parts, we ask for a VIN number to confirm fitment before processing the orders, so if you could please provide that to us, we can cross-check everything.

Thank you!

It seems like all these copycat mopar online websites allow you to order anything, but never mention anything about having the item in stock or available or not. So you place an order and just get nothing, until they receive it, and you don't know that until you call and ask.

So you're saying the trim surround along the window line is also a brushed finish?

I might be interested in that and the grille, etc, still debating. It would blend on my silver car the way black blends on the black cars, so it's a thought to go that way vs black.
Yup. Same grayish/brushed aluminum color. It probably would look good on a silver car. I think it's dumb we can't have options like that... especially if we're ordering the car from the factory. Waste of time, money, shipping costs, fuel, etc.

Here are some pics:

Yeah.... I think I'll bring the parts list to the dealer and see what they can do. I'm sure it'll be back ordered (they said the Jeep brand all-weather mats couldn't even be ordered until Feb), but maybe they can come close price-wise.

Still looking for a few other pieces:
- Exhaust/tailpipe rings
- Mirror pieces
- All the emblems (may just plastidip those)

I don't think the Latitude has dual outlet exhaust? You could probably paint those with a can of gloss black BBQ or engine paint and it would hold up fine and no one would know the difference.

The emblems are probably the cheapest part. Someone posted the part numbers in another thread.

The other thing I'm looking into is having all the chrome/brushed trim powdercoated to match the 'granite' finish of the 80th Anniversary wheels. It would be unique, and it plays well with the silver color IMO. Subtle, but a bit more special. If I could buy a bunch of someone else's discards from swapping to black I could send it all in together.

Please do a write up of removal and prep if you go this route.

I genuinely hope these trucks get popular enough that the aftermarket companies start producing good parts.

I still haven't seen anyone do anything other than wrap on it. I watched some videos of people swapping the window trim on the WK2, and it was pretty involved (removing door panels), and this would seem even more involved given the chrome wrapping into the mirrors, the door handles, etc. That said, I'm waiting to see someone else try it first, as paying the dealer to do it would be very costly. At this point I'm waiting to see if my car ends up in a buyback due to the dozens of electrical problems I'm having.

Has anyone removed the rear Jeep logo On the hatch? Is it held on with 3m or is it a clip in? And if it’s a clip in, how do you access it?

I also ordered from grill circles down from the list. However does anyone know the black altitude part numbers for parts number 11? Those are also brushed aluminum on the SR models.

On a side note, does can everyone confirm all the bumper part numbers will also fit on the SR models?

it has some alignment pins, no clips, and uses double back tape to adhere. I used trim removal tool (plastic) to pry off, and then removed the tape (a bit of a pain) painted with gloss black paint and used a few dabs of VHT black silicone gasket adhesive to re-mount.

Does anyone have a picture of their blacked out SR yet?

I just sent the list of all the parts on the first page to my local parts department to see what they can do price-wise. I tried to order a while back, but so many things were out of stock, I ended up cancelling the whole order.

Still curious what people are doing about the door handles, as the Altitude seems to have matching body color. I guess I could pull them off and have the dealership paint them to match the body. Not sure how much that would cost, but I think it would look better (and last longer) than wrapping them in black.

The emblems should be easy enough to paint, but not sure what to do about the exhaust trim pieces.

I painted my SR exhaust outlets with high temp gloss black. I'll get a better pic, but you can kind of see how they look.
So much better in my opinion - the brushed chrome look drew your eye down to the exhaust, whereas the black makes them far more discreet.
