Center console incorrectly aligned/uneven

Just got my new WL Limited 4x4 a few days ago, and have noticed that the interior console appears to not be correctly aligned. There's probably an inch of space between the driver's seat and the console, while the passenger seat rubs up against the console to the point that it makes significant noise and rubs when you are trying to move the seat back forwards or backwards. It also appears to not be level. See pic below. Anyone else experienced this? The dealer is trying to tell me this is how they all are, but I am not buying it. Any help appreciated!

I never sat in back seat before so I was curious after I saw your post and check mine. Mine also appears off center with a little more room between the drivers seat and center console.I haven’t noticed any running but it looks like yours.

Can I ask what the build date of your vehicle is? My GCL SR Hemi is due in next week and I am wondering if the factory fixed this issue. Mine was just built before Thanksgiving.

Damn I just read that tsb, that’s a lot of work to fix such a simple problem that should have been fixed before production

Although if you take yours in for this and yours is also having the issue with the center console getting hot then maybe They can address this as well. I have heard that it's because of the hvac ducts getting hot or not connected right.

Mine isn't perfectly centered (larger gap on the drivers side than the passenger side) but it isn't contacting the passenger seat, FWIW.

I checked mine the other day and it’s the same. I also tested to see if mine got hot. I ran the rear vents with full fan speed and highest temp for almost an hour and the bottom of my yeti got warm on the outside but never hot. Maybe I lucked out

I've got a two hour drive for work tomorrow, and I bought a laser temp gun to check the various temps around the cabin, it's definitely screwed up with regard to rear vents from the front console. It also circulates cold air around the cabin, so we'll see what the gauge says during a long drive at various settings...

Mine is off too - pain in the but to fish something out that slips between the seats.

Dealer and I reviewed the TSB and decided not worth it - will likely create more squeaks and problems down the road...chalk this up to Chrysler quality control. Embarrassing - some should be fired on this one.

Secretly, it's the dealer's way of telling you the tech won't be paid very well for a PITA job that involves removing the seats. They have more important issues to deal with? Nothing will squeak if they put it together properly.

So I took this in to the dealer and they also said that it “wasn’t worth it” to fix it. Has anyone had the TSB fix done for this issue? I am debating because it’s annoying and looks terrible, but I also don’t want to have the fix for it cause any more problems down the road. Totally ridiculous that a $52K vehicle ships from the factory with this issue.

Even in the pictures of the car on website you can tell it’s off, I’m assuming it was meant to be like this? Because I’ve even measured, the center console lines up with center of my dash… but seats seem off

My WL74 has this issue. It doesn't bother me though. Definitely not enough to have a deanship take apart the interior to fix something so minor.
