Bass-like rumble from speakers at idle / park

Anyone have an update on the Active Noise Cancellation issue? It’s bothering me every time I drive. I’ll try the tape fix but how annoying.

There is a TSB for this issue:

I don't think this is for the active noise cancelling. I think this is for dead battery that was caused by the amp.

I think it is connected as it requires to update the AMP for the latest software version and it seems the AMP is connected to the ANC.

sounds logical, but with all of the complains here about the issue, has no one had it done and can comment on results? I am quite surprised. I do recognize though, this TSB was just posted 3 weeks ago, so quite possible no one made it to the dealer yet also.

FYI I am at the dealer now and recommended they check the Amp TSB for the rumbling noise. Will advise later on outcome.

Also asked them to perform TSB to fix my missing data on the Jeep app from the Telematic TSB.

went for a test drive with the technician - he agreed he heard the noise

we then took out a brand new loaner, same noise. he is flashing the amp anyway for me.

will let you know if it goes away. maybe my noise is not the ANC or maybe both vehicles have the issue...or maybe its normal.

The TSB does say it is for flashing the amp. So why would you say it's not for the amp?
Because I responded to the poster that suggested that it referred to the problem of the amp depleting the battery. It does not. The amp killing the battery was a separate and distinct bulletin.

Quick update...they applied the TSB to my truck, the bassy noise is still there. I should be clear, my rumble is when driving, not idle. Maybe the issues are not the same.

Mine happens when idling or driving when it is too cold outside at 1500 rpm.

I just found this in another thread, most likely this is the issue:

Not sure if this is helpful, but this was how the bass drone/vibration was addressed and described at my service visit. I was told it was a software update, but not sure. All I know is it improved the problem. Mine occurred primarily at low speeds, under 30 mph and when initially putting it into D or R. Had used the taping the third row speaker trick, which also worked if it was very secured.

I've had the active noise cancellation issue since buying the car in Nov and printed this exact TSB when I took the car in for the first oil change last week. The tech found and used another TSB (08-041-22) which was also an amp software update. The rumble from the sub is now completely gone. In my case the rumble was audible at ~1000 RPM when the car was in P, N, D, or R. I have the McIntosh system. I am attaching a copy of the service ticket.

Yeah I have the same issue. Someone commented on another thread there should be a software update to fix issue.Mine
Overland L V6 with premium audio - I noticed after ignition and idling in park, the car has a very unpleasant low frequency (but med-high volume IMO) bass-like rumble which is agnostic to equalizer and even radio power/volume at 0. The noise also stops if the window is opened and resumes when closed. It's almost like it's an engine sound emulation attempt as some high end cars do but I do not see such a setting or mention in the manual.
Mine has the bass drone sound while driving on the highway, when I let off the gas it stops.

I had that as well in addition to the drone/rumble at 1k rpm although it was much more faint compared to the 1k rpm drone. The update fixed both.
