Audio Formats for USB?

Hoping someone can help confirm what I think I understand.

I am trying to play high resolution audio files (24-bit FLAC, Direct Stream Digital, etc).

It appears that the Uconnect 10" McIntosh system will play 24 bit 96khz FLAC files, but not 24-bit 192khz FLAC.

The audio browser sees the 192k files, but says there's a problem playing them. The browser doesn't even see or recognize the DSD files.

I haven't found an official source stating specifically what audio formats and resolutions it supports?

I just stick to my MP3 file format. Works for me.

I dont know if this is related or not, but i have loaded several CD's onto a usb stick and have found that some show up when played and some do not. Had a Toyota rental car and all worked fine. Strange...

It won't play WMA files, only MP3. So when you rip a CD you will need to make sure to change the settings to rip the files as MP3 and not the default (WMA). I've had the same issue...
