Are any of the features in option packages liable to expire without a paid subscription?

This condition isn't listed in any of the option packages, but it seems there are some in this forum who got messages about a subscription, especially with the assisted drive feature. I hope it was just a condition that has since been corrected.

Only the Hands-Free version of Active Driving Assist requires a subscription—regular ADA does not… and they have not yet sold a vehicle with Hands-Free ADA.

Other things that require subscriptions:
* Sirius XM satellite radio
* Fire TV (for rear-seat entertainment option)
* Off-Road data recording (with Off-Road Pages option)
* All of the stuff listed on this page:

Regarding that last link, you get 3 months free on Assistance + Navigation, 5 years on Vehicle Performance, and 10 years on Safety and Security.

Those seem reasonable. It's not clear though if the added uconnect features listed are needed for basic navigation. Is it safe to assume it doesn't stop working without a subscription?

“TomTom® Navigation” is in the list of services that’s part of that package. I assume that means no navigation without a subscription.

I have had the Nav function since I took delivery end of October, thats 9 months . I will never pay for a subscription when I already paid $995.00 for the 10 inch screen/nav and upgrade radio package.
