Others are saying it will be Wagoneer-only at first, and others say a higher performance version of the WL... We'll have to wait and see, but I wouldn't be surprised if they start with lower volume models first, as they iron out the kinks. I'd love turbos at the high elevations I drive in.

Hopefully this allows them to increase the towing capacity to compete with the Toyota Sequoia.
I don't know if towing capacity will be affected. The 5.7 has plenty of power to tow more, but heat or chassis physics/dynamics may be controlling vs the engine power capacity. If the 6TT has better cooling, maybe, but turbos generate a lot of added heat.

Jeep® To Introduce New GME-T6 H.O. Engine In New York, Next Month!

Turbocharged 3.0-liter Inline-Six-Cylinder Is Almost Here...

Grand-Wagoneer-GME-T6-1-scaled.jpg

As a premium extension of the Jeep® brand, the Grand Wagoneer marks the return of a premium American icon. So what better vehicle to introduce one of the most anticipated new propulsion systems in recent decades from the Chrysler Group.

The all-new turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six-cylinder, known internally as the “GME-T6” will make its world debut this month at the New York International Auto Show (NYIAS). The new GME-T6 is part of the Stellantis Global Medium Engine family and is the first inline-six-cylinder to find itself under the hood of a Jeep product since the discontinuation of the legendary 4.0-liter inline-six-cylinder.

So do we know if Wagoneer only for 2023 MY? or a 2022 MY midpoint intro on Wagoneer and extension to Grand Cherokee for 2023 MY?
