I'd say it's not the OPs fault that somebody brought back this thread AFTER it was indeed POSTED a year ago - LOL...Why are you posting an article from a year ago?
Ahhh I spy a Ford Explorer fan!!Before buying Jeep GCL, think twice..It is just waste of money. Too many software issues and Jeep care phone call is waste of time. Most of the features Jeep claim in their website don't work.
Don't denigrate the entire Jeep line based on your getting a lemon. It happens and it is most unfortunate but most of the Jeep owners love their vehicles. I have purchased my 4th Jeep Grand Cherokee which I eagerly look forward to owning and driving. Yes there are birthing pains with a brand new model but it will work its way out. I am willing to be patient due to my experience with this brand over the years since 1995. I wish you luck getting the vehicle up to par or replacing via the lemon laws.I bought this Jeep GCL summit with lots of expectations and believing what Jeep advertises on their website is true. (This is my first Jeep after 20 years of Honda/Toyota and will be the last). But the reality is completely different. Most of the features they advertise either doesn't work or works when it feels like. Is this what I should get after paying $65K? Even the technician at the dealership is frustrated.
