2021 JGC-L Summit reserve

I ordered my 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee L Summit Reserve the 1st week of May and was able to get a trade-in on my 2014 JGC Summit w/ 99.992 miles for much more than I had expected (win-win bonus for me, so I thought at the time). Here it is mid September of 21 and like, most still waiting. Saddened to hear yesterday that the QL was removed due to possible chip shortages. I am wondering when this jeep is actually going to be delivered after having a VIN for 9 weeks. Will it will actually have (QL or non QL) and if it will be worth more money upon delivery than when I originally ordered and put my down payment on it?

Ironically I was told many times it was in paint and funny that they have so few options. Last 3 weeks I was told via chat that the parts were in and it was being completed... so confused and frustrated like most with anticipation. I cant be the ONLY one

This experience has been a test of patience!!! I ordered my Summit (not reserve) V-8 on May 3rd. "Supposed" to be manufactured 9.20.2021. My dealer tells me that since I ordered it in May, it WILL have the quadra lift. The first part of August I got a D1 status for a few days, then it went back to D. Now I have D1 again, and 9/20 as my date. Curious how some that ordered V-8's in late May and June are gettting them! I dont understand.

My dealer tells me as well that sold orders won't have changes. But I don't believe them.

Get your update from the dealer if possible. Jeep chat is a waste of time, up until our Baltic Summit Reserve Hemi was delivered to us last week, chat kept saying it was in D status awaiting parts. My dealer checked every day for us and notified us when there was a change in the status. We ordered at the end of April, it was actually delivered to the dealer on Sept. 7. Once ours hit F status(paint) it was delivered three weeks later.

Thanks, about how long from Production date until F status?

In an email I received on October 19the from Jeff- US Customer Care:

This is a courtesy email regarding your Jeep Grand Cherokee L factory order status.

I presently show your factory order has been cloned and is following an enhanced and prioritized production schedule.

Cloning is a manufacturing process for vehicle orders that sit too long in one status. Our factory resources put through a secondary VIN/VON order with the same vehicle specifications and make sure that the clone keeps moving at an enhanced and expedited rate.

As such, I am presently monitoring your order with our factory resources. As soon as I receive your new order details and projected estimates, I will be reaching out further to you to keep you appraised of this information as it becomes available.

Thank you for your loyalty and we’re proud to have you as a member of the Jeep Family!

Unfortunately I check and search and still see no updates and the dealer has nothing new on there end.

TODAY I received my trade-in amount as well as my deposit both returned.... oh well
