The hemi engine information listed above seems to be the standard hemi with no eTorque---is that correct?

For the UConnect 5 on the limited (standard feature), any idea what it means to have a 10.1 inch display and yet only an 8.4 inch touchscreen? How would that work?

Interesting. Seems to be a typo. Still there in the file on Jeep's site.

Unfortunately is precisely that. The glass screen is larger than the touchscreen portion.
Imagine the old ipads where the real screen behind the glass was actually smaller. Black bezel around.
For the Limited you can upgrade to the 10.1 display and 10.1 touchscreen and alpine audio for $995.
Overland comes std with the Alpine audio system but also with the 8.4 touchscreen. To upgrade to the 10.1 is $1795 because the upgrade includes the Mcintosh audio system.

Where are you getting this info? I'm dying for the build and price to go live, so I can configure mine and figure out what I want to order.

Earlier post has the spec availability for each trim:

I got from my local dealer the detail on what each of the packages include. See attached for the upgrades to Uconnect5 system on the Limited.
Waiting too for the Build to be available, I will preorder but only when I can see more visuals on what each package includes.

Only 8.4-inches of the display is a touchscreen. Look at the 12.3-inch display with 10.1-inch touchscreen in this Wagoneer prototype...

Just watched a walk around video of Grand Cherokee L Summit with the 5.7L Hemi at the Tulsa auto show and it was the standard Hemi with no eTorque.

It's my understanding the summit will have autonomous driving capabilities (with hands on wheel) however later this year they will have full autonomous capabilities. Not sure if I'd really want to even take my hands off the wheel, however do we know if the first models can be programmed later when the full autonomous is available?

I think the 10.1 is referring to the instrument cluster and the 8.4 to the Uconnect.

The instrument cluster for all Trims is 10.1"
The Uconnect is 10.1" display (glass screen portion) and 8.4" touchscreen portion for Laredo, Altitude, Limited and Overland.
It means there is a black bezel portion on the glass screen.
When you upgrade to the 10.1" touchscreen, then you see a full use of the glass screen area.
