2019 Grand Cherokee Limited - panel under driver seat

I hear what sounds like a ball bearing rolling back and forth when I accelerate/decelerate. It sounds like it's directly under the driver seat; I see a panel there and have no idea what's under it. Can I remove it without damaging something? The rolling is driving me nuts!

The battery is under that. You can remove it without worrying about anything.
