hey! about 4k miles on it so far and only slight rubs the felt at full lock in entry/exit mode. If you don’t have QL it won’t be a problem at all…you’ll only be limited by the steering knuckle (32” OD) unless you’re will to go with zero offset (sticks out about 2”) to clear it. I think non-QL...
Hey! The SR oem wheels are 275/45R21 which gives a 4.9” sidewall and an OD of 30.5”. I increased OD to 31.5” be running 275/45R22’s which keeps the same sidewall profile but gives for tires options since nobody makes 21” off road tires. I would characterize it as comfortable but with the...
you need to go to your dealer and have them calibrate it for a 31” tire…although honestly stock is 30.5” so I’m not sure it’s worth it. Also, 265/40R18 is not an OEM size so if that’s what you’ve been running your speedo was already way off and the new tires should put you closer to stock.
Had them ordered from discount tire. the ET35’s aren’t in the catalog yet so they just charged the same as ET25’s and then called Status Wheels and manually overrode the order in their system.
So I’m wondering if I’ve called attention to an issue that affects an entire class. Basically Jeep invoiced most of us for a year of service (and early marketing advertised a year of Jeep Connect), but now they’re only offering 3 months. Jeep Connect supervisor said sorry, nothing they are...
should follow up to say that 275/45R22’s were my choice because Cooper AT3 4S’s come in that size and are the only all-terrain tires I could find for 22’s under 32” OD. If the GCL is lifted (not an option for QLII models) and using 1.5” spacers, you could go with a much bigger/protective...
Sure…starting with stock dimensions: largest oem wheels are 21x9ET50. Tires are 275/45R21. Max OD is approx 32” due to steering knuckle which curves above wheel (virtual ball joint as part of multi-link suspension) and rubbing in entry/exit mode on modes with QLII. On a limited with 18’s you...
so the more I looked into it, I believe the wording is just a carry over the seller is using from previous models. The WK2 would not support mud flaps due to the side step design which was not “integrated” to replace the lower body sill like the WL.
I cancelled my order because I wasn’t getting anything’s from my dealer. The dealer sent it up the chain and confirmed that my SR Hemi order would be build without eLSD and a standard axle, but would contain adaptive dampening. Ultimately, it would seem that finding an early production v6...
weird…that appears to be the only site with that disclaimer and none of the actual Mopar dealer sites say that. I also checked the install manual and it doesn’t include that disclaimer. Checked the build tool as well and it still shows front and rear with floorboards. again, wish I knew why...
Stock is 275/45R21 and these are 275/45R22…hence the same sidewall with a 1” increase in overall diameter (31.7” vs stock 30.7”). Half of the increase fills the wheel well, which is why the wheel is now about a 0.5” closer to the steering knuckle. And yes, the speedo is off by 3.3% but...
love it! the sidewall is still 4.9” so the sidewall flex is the same. the stance is slightly wider and feels just a tad more responsive (about 11mm more/positive scrub).
I put oversized tires (275/45R22) on the GCL at 1” over stock and needed to upsize the spare to match so that if used it wouldn’t damage the gears/overheat the diff. As it turns out, the tire I ordered fit very snug (had to wiggle/flex the bumper facia to make it fit) so I thought I’d share...
Yeah this just confirmed my decision to cancel my hemi order in lieu of a early production allocation that was spec’d with eLSD and all the other accoutrements. Saved 3k and gained everything else I expected .
Once your window sticker appears it’s a good idea to also print and save your equipment sheet: https://fcacommunity.force.com/RAM/s/equipment-listing
Given that the “standard” features for a build are apparently varied, this may become a valuable reference if you ever decide to sell.
