I'm able to configure it just fine. It shows it in the radio preview, but there's a blank region wherever I assign the Gear value to appear. I just doesn't seem to pickup a signal for it.
On a '24 Summit Reserve, the custom option is available. It then gives a menu on the radio touchscreen to drag up to 5 values to the display. It can show Speed, Speed limit, Nav, Lane keeping and Gear, but for some reason Gear doesn't show up no matter what position or configuration. It must be...
Active Driving Assist seems to be available in Canada, (Hands-free active driving assist system - $3,495CAD), and was claimed to be available in the US for 2024. But it's not listed in any of the available options on the US build site. In the comments of the Mopar youtube channel it still claims...
Went through the manufacturer to local reseller gauntlet and got the US price of $180 plus tax and shipping. At that price I could probably get it 3D printed myself, but I'll spend the money instead of the time. Having position feedback on the gear selector, other than the light indicator ought...
At least you were able to get a CAD price. That supplier doesn't ship outside of Canada. They're made in the US by Mobility Innovations, but I can't seem to get anyone to answer the phone there. I'll give it a few more tries. Thanks.
While the rotary gear selector probably allows the smallest footprint for that selector, it's just another carpal tunnel hazard, along with all the harm from constant use of a computer mouse. Has anyone seen a cap like the one shown below that fits the diameter of the Jeep gear selector? The one...
Is there a reason why the control pad for the driver display increments the display no. with the down arrow and decrements with the up arrow, rather than the more intuitive reverse?
Hey thanks. I didn't realize that was a button. That does work to turn it on and off, but looks like it isn't sticky and needs to be applied for each new selection. I wonder if there's a way to make it persistent per channel or even globally.
I get an intermittent echo on HD radio channels which I gather is caused by the HD signal strength dropping and causing it to switch to analog. I'm not sure I detect an improvement with HD, and certainly not one that justifies the intermittent echo it causes. It seems like to only cure is to...
Yes, Jake keeps posting Jeep.CA configurations that, for some inexplicable reason, can't be configured on Jeep.COM, such Overland with Steel Grey int. and hands free driving assist on any model. Then while the eLSD is still listed as standard on the Summits, (it does look like Quadra-Trac II +...
Just looking at the Jeep.ca site, even though they come off the same line, there are clearly configurations that can be ordered in CA that aren't offered in the US. Beyond that, the Trailhawk ICE on the sticker you show can't even be ordered in CA. So while the 4xe seem to have the eLSD that...
Yes, Trailhawk is now available in 4Xe only, not ICE. Maybe that's taking all of the limited eLSD allocations. In fact, it looks like the 4xe Summits still include eLSD, when the ICE model don't. I wish that 4 cylinder turbo wasn't so laggy.
Yes, eLSD is clearly listed among the standard equipment on the Summits, but every sticker I have been able to find for delivered Summits shows it as deleted, (with a meager $400 credit). Also, the dealers I've spoken to say that Dealer Connect confirms that the option isn't offered, (despite...
We've been through this a few times. For some reason, even though they come from the same plant, it seems eLSD can be delivered to Canada, but not the US, though I'm not sure that's still the case today. It still shows up among the standard features, but in every Monrony I've seen in the US for...
