While I have a hitch mounted rack, there are situations where I want to carry my MTB inside and have been considering a DIY solution using a fork mount on a 1x6 and was curious if anyone else here had done something similar?
I didn't find anything when attempting various searches. (Google, yes...
I've come to realize that the WL (at least my '23 Summit Reserve) does not have an onboard 110V outlet. My 2018 Jeep Wrangler and Ram 2500 had them, so it looks like I'll need to use an inverter - doubt a portable unit that plugs into a 12V outlet will provide much amperage to do anything more...
Does anyone have a suggestion or hack as to getting the fan speed lower? When manually set to its lowest setting (1) the fan speed is still too high and LOUD. Such a quiet vehicle, with the most noise coming not from the wind or tires, but the damn HVAC fan! Besides shutting the HVAC system...
I had ordered a custom fit sunscreen for the WL from CoverCraft
https://www.covercraft.com/us/en/product/uvs100-custom-sunscreen.UV
When it came it had a crease in it from shipping (see photos) I have purchased several of these over the years and never had an issue, so I let them know and they...
With the 18" Fuel "Covert" wheels and Toyo Open Country AT3's
Ride is softer than with the 21" Vossen's and Michelin Pilot Sport 4S, very slightly more noise, and as expected, you feel a bit more sidewall flex upon turn-in, but these are for off-road and snow performance.
Anyone seen anything about producing a Trackhawk version of the WL?
Would like to take some Trackhawk components (like Brembo Brakes on prior Trackhawks and an active exhaust as on the 392 Wrangler)
Who's found the best fitting (most coverage) for the back of the 2-row?
The space is aprox 44" x 40" deep which isn't a typical size for a dog bed. I'm currently using one that I had already and is 54" x 38 and while it works, it is a little too wide.
I would love to have an aftermarket cat-back exhaust for the 5.7 Hemi - something that would be controllable so when I wanted a bit of rumble, I could have it, but more "stock" quiet so as not to have to listen to droning on and on....
I've done some searches, but haven't found anything - may be...
Just got the whip back from having window tint and satin paint protection film. Kept the roof gloss (no PPF) but the backs of the mirrors have clear PPF. (Here in Arizona, stones being thrown up on the road are a way of life as we have rock in our yards that tires pick up and toss on the...
Off my new 2022 GC Summit Reserve. Only 16 Miles on the set.
Continental Cross Contact LX Sport all season tires.
Tire Rack sells the tires alone for $403 each ($1,600 for 4)
OEM TPS
Nitrogen filled.
The OEM wheels cost $556 each from Mopar - over $2200 for the set.
So if you were to buy the...
The WL74 Summit Reserve arrived at the dealership in Tucson today (thus the poor photo) It will take a few days for them to deliver via truck to the Phoenix area, but soon after I'll be changing out the wheel/tire combo (two sets - 21" Vossens and Pilot Sport AS4 and 18" Fuel with Toyo Open...
My 2022 WL74 is ready to be put on a railcar and I had considered doing satin PPF. Haven't yet found any images, curious if anyone has done it?
Not only does it make it different than every other GC out there, but if you take it off road, it's bound to get "pinstripes" without it.
I had a 2022...
Curious if anyone has debadged their WL75 or 74?
Particularly the driver/passenger door?
I recognize the Grand Cherokee along the door has been a classic look for years, while I will keep the "Jeep" front and rear (perhaps black them out) I plan on removing the rear and door badging for a...
With a WL74 on order and scheduled to ship later this month, I'm already trying to find out if and how the auto stop/start can be PERMANENTLY disabled. This "feature" might save a bit of fuel so the manufacturers can hit their CAFE numbers, but I for one would rather save the wear on the starter...
