I had to file a lemon lawsuit and after 9 months and they were unable to repair the vehicle and bought it back. After this experience, I'll never buy a Stellantis product ever again.
Sarge, don't get your hopes up too high. My GCL SR is `22 and it died after only 2000 miles.... it's still in the shop... and still not fixed. Today marks 142 days in the shop (that's not a typo). I had a some of the same issues you did, from vibrations in the door panels (playing the same...
In some states the manufacture has to pay all the attorney fees as well as buyback the vehicle. FCA wont spare expense on their own counsel, nor should you -- get a good attorney specializing in this area of law. Talk to a few of them before deciding who to go with -- in my own experience I...
Wish I could say that. My MY22 has been in the shop longer than I was able to drive it... On paper it's a great vehicle... Unfortunately the company behind it has squandered their opportunity to put them ahead over the past two years with exceptionally poor execution.
@SweetAndLow Thank you! I see what you mean rom that article. However, I think the front axle disconnect is a feature on MY21 and MY22 WL models, which unfortunately appears to have been entirely overlooked in this article. For what it's worth, my MY22 GCL SR buildsheet has the part listed as...
I was just trying to look this up, but the only thing I found that references 52/48 is the weight distribution on the V8. The weight distribution on the V6 is 50/50. Where did you find this information?
Seems odd to me since 4WD isn't actually full time unless you engage it manually in 4-Low. The rest of the time the front wheel disconnect is engaged and the vehicle is a RWD vehicle. That being said, I wouldn't trust any dealership to actually know any detailed information about the vehicles...
That is very possible. I think one other factor is that they may have contracted with AT&T for the SOS and vehicle telemetry. (The help/roadside-assist button when I used it called via my paired phone.) My hope is that they use an eSIMs, which can be used different providers.
I just got around to this, and was told, "I would need to recommend calling into AT&T 866 5951330 they will be able to provide the code to you that is needed." I will give that a try in the coming days and report back.
I wonder if you can request TrueCar to delete your personal information from their systems. I know California residents have really good privacy laws in place that make it so they have to comply. I'm not sure about other states though.
I've had that happen a couple times. Basically the uConnect head unit is frozen/crashed. You need to soft-reboot it by pressing the power button until it shuts down/restarts.
As for a more permanent solution... I don't really have anything to offer. They just have to work out the software bugs...
I found some third-party wheels which come very close to spec match for the 18x8 +50 OEM. The Enkei SVX (PN: 475-880-7350 BKM). I say very close because the max load rating is 1851 LBS per wheel... and the GAWR for rear axle on my GCL V6 SR is 3800 lbs. That puts it just 98lbs under the rated...
12-13 seems like a real problem worth taking it in to the dealer to look at. Mine is in the shop right now as it has an engine problem, but the problem in my case causes the engine to stall, so it's not clear if the fuel economy is related or not. It will be interesting to see if it improves...
I actually want to know how to turn it off. I've had the opposite experience where it can be too sensitive sometimes, and I accidentally opened the vehicle with pressure sprayer while washing it. I realized it quick enough to stop spraying and hold the trunk closed thankfully.
