Yep! Same as you but ‘21. I agree with you on the trim levels. This has everything we need, the only thing I would have upgraded would be the sound system and bigger touch screen. In my opinion those two things weren’t worth the price of the higher trim.
***edit-and fog lights. But I’m thinking...
That sucks. We were hoping for a similar situation but our hitch hasn’t even arrived yet and we’ve been waiting since October. It goes in Saturday morning for the first oil change so I’ll be speaking with them about it.
Agreed. Seems like it’s either the same people with problems or new members that just joined. Sounds like many makes and models are having issues right now so it’s not just a jeep thing. I know people have had some issues but we have almost 5k miles on our 9/21 built altitude and have been very...
I know this doesn’t really help the OP’s question. But I wanted to share these lights I found, eventually I may figure out a bracket to put these on our altitude. Some of the pictures in the reviews make them look really good...
The light output is great even with the tint on, i would be very surprised if I got pulled over. Did you look at the picture with the running lights on? The left tail is tinted and the right is not, pretty similar.
My left tail I tried as one piece and it was a PITA, and hence ended up with some creases and air bubbles if you look close. The right tail I did in 3 pieces (4 if you count the red area on the hatch(reverse lights are untouched)). I did the whole top red line in one piece, then the lower right...
Just sharing some photos for anyone interested in tinting their tail lights. Learning curve at first for sure, left tail was my first and made some mistakes so I’ll be redoing it when I get more vinyl. Light output is great, the photo with lights on-left tail is tinted while right is not. Left...
I doubt it, there’s a guy on the Facebook group who put 1.5” spacers on his stock 20s and I don’t believe he had rubbing. I could be wrong but I think 1.5” spacer would be pretty close to a wheel with 12-13mm offset
We also have an altitude and I’m interested in this. Being that there’s no switch inside idk if I’d want to install one or just wire the fogs to the headlight wiring. So they’d be on every time the heads are on
Altitude here as well. We preferred the look of it over the other trims and it also happened to be what we could afford. The higher trims have some nice features but nothing I felt was necessary compared to the Laredo/altitude, at least not for 10-20k more. The only one maybe being the nicer 4wd...
It’s not perfect yet. The thing I don’t like about it though, is if you’re on a two lane road and try to dodge something on your right (animal, car, etc) obviously it tries to over correct you. Or when on a curve going to the right, I generally hug the right lane or have my right side tires...
It stinks the 2nd row isn’t one piece but the pictures I’ve seen of the 3rd row makes it look like it covers quite a bit between the captains chairs and part of the hump in the 2nd row. I wouldn’t be that bummed about the weather techs, the jeeps had the same coverage or less with more price...
There are a few people on the Facebook group “grand Cherokee L owners” that have installed it. Join the group and search bumper protector. Should show up.
