Just installed the chrome ones this weekend. Wasn’t too bad. The Mopar rivnut tool is a absolute necessity. I thought about doing it without the tool, but it’s only like $15 on Amazon. The hardest part was removing all the plastic seal clips. But they aren’t needed at all, so if they break, it’s...
For me, I’ve noticed I have to unlock the car first, then the remote start will turn on the seat warmer and heated steering wheel.
If I don’t unlock it first, it doesn’t turn those features on.
Don’t doubt it one bit. My GCL runs “fine”. Few quirks, but nothing I’m running to the dealer to get fixed, and therefore not going out of my way to fight this right now. Whenever my car is in the shop with them (hopefully not until my first oil change), I’ll bring it up.
Interested for pics and experience.
I did this on my old WK2 and was super easy, but was curious about how to remove the trim pieces on the WL. Plan on doing this in the spring when it warms up a little.
Yep. I’ve tried toggling it on and off.
I also haven’t had the new software loaded yet. Haven’t been able to get the FOTA or make it to the dealer. Maybe that will help.
