Anyone have any pictures of their floor mats?
Trying to decide whether to order the ones discussed here or wait for Weathertech to come out with some deep ones for snow/rain/mud.

I picked up the Jeep ones last night and the first and 2nd row are ok, but I am not happy with the 3rd row at all. For sand I think they will be fine but for the snow and ice I don't think they will hold any of the water once it starts to melt.

Emailed weathertech this morning and was told "I've pulled up the 2021/Jeep/Grand Cherokee L and it looks like the Floorliners and Cargo liner are both currently in the design phase of production at this time. This may take 8-12 weeks. Unfortunately sometimes some take longer to make for some vehicles."

Just some advice that I worked for me.
I was able to use a site or two mentioned in these threads, or maybe even Ebay with their prices for the all-weather mats. I made a phone call to the dealer I purchased the vehicle from and without even verifying, Parts dept. matched the 20% off. They had them delivered to the dealer within 24 hours for me to pick up.
I'd say its worth a shot to ask (and I'm kicking myself for not having these negotiated into the original sale)
I think the fit/finish is great and should hold up for years to come.

Has anyone tried to purchase the retractable cargo cover.... My dealer "ordered" one and said it was due end of August. I bought mats online and they were here 3 days later.... Thinking I may just buy one online and cancel the dealer one.

Those front and 2nd row mats in the picture from @GC_chief look pretty good in terms of depth and being able to capture water like you mentioned...
You're right, that 3rd row looks a bit lacking, but perhaps it looks that way because the seats are forwards and there's no center console or bench seat?

I'm not super worried about the 3rd row personally, it's the least used and more often than not my seats will be laying down for additional storage back there.

If anything, I want a cargo mat that will cover the regular cargo area as well as the back of the 3rd row seats. Ideally it would flex and allow those seats to raise/lower without having to deal with the mat too.

Edited to add: a blanket is always an option too of course. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

This is what I want as well. My dad has a Highlander with a OEM Toyota cargo liner that works exactly as you describe. Hoping Jeep comes out with something similar.

For now, I'm just using moving blankets.

Do you have the part number for the retractable cover? I wanted to order one myself.

Blankets do help but with 3 young kids they will never make sure they are in the right place. I also opted to get the chaplains chairs in the second row. At least one of the seats in the 3rd will be used. Have to wait and see what the aftermarket comes up with.

I am still thinking about this mat.
I know it comes from China/HK, but looks pretty good. It’s a synthetic leather and EVA foam to make it water resistant, but looks to be thin enough to fold over when the 3rd row seats are up.
I’m scared at the possible VAT taxes or hidden fees for shipping on this item.
if I pull the trigger, I’ll update everyone in about 7 weeks or however much longer it takes to get here. 🙄

Called Thule about crossbars and they haven’t released an AeroBlade low-profile version for the GCL yet but did say that the raised bar feet pack should work if buying the load bars separately. Based on the exterior dimensions of the VW Atlas, he recommended the 53” load bars (wingbar or aeroblade). Other sizes are 47” (too small) or 60” (too big). Links below:

p.s. Thule doesn’t appear to sell the Aeroblade load bars as a stand alone option anymore (maybe competing with their own products), which is why I posted from TravelCo. (seems to be a scarce item).

ooof! 6-8 week back order (asked multiple dealers). should have mine in September!

Yup dealer is fronting the bill as I asked for it in negotiations. They called me today to say instead of August, I'm in Sept. Free is free so I will wait it out.
