This is our first Jeep…and I was typing this response I just got the email. 😂Maybe that email is for first time Jeep buyers only??
Well I have an Overland GC now and I just got the email that my 2022 GC V6 SR will be delivered the week of 2/2. So it’s not just for new buyers after all. This is our first Jeep…and I was typing this response I just got the email. 😂
Expected to arrive the week of 2/7!
I got two welcome emails this morning. 😆
One for an order I cancelled, and another for the one I am waiting for. Interestingly, the cancelled order doesn't have a ship date estimate but the build sheet and window sticker is available. While the order I am waiting for has an estimated delivery date in the email, but the build sheet nor the window sticker is available. I'm not sure what that is all about.
Once it starts production it goes very fast.I also got an email yesterday saying my 22 SR V8 is scheduled to arrive at dealer week of 2/18 but I have no window sticker and I’ve been in D1 for over a week.
Not sure, but it seems like a week or two is about average. Ours arrived at the rail yard on 1/22 and we got the email from Jeep stating it would be delivered to the dealer the week of 2/7. Original ETA once it was in transit was 1/22-2/7.For anyone who has taken delivery of their vehicle, how long did yours sit at the (nearest) rail yard waiting to be delivered to the dealer? Mine is in rail yard in the same city as the dealer and has been in the rail yard for 2 days. I know I'm being impatient, but this is the last stint of the process and I'm beyond ready.
Thanks to this group for all the invaluable info on order process, lead times, experience, suggestions, and more. Placed my order today for my 22 GCL Overland V8. I know it's way early in the process but fingers crossed for delivery inside 3 months 🤞
A) That MSRP is not what I paid (or at least signed contract for). Let's just say that I was sub-sticker.Jeez. That price hike is no joke. I got my 22 v8 SR on order with every option and msrp is 72k. You might as well went with the Summit Reserve lol
It’s nice that there are options to suit our individual tastes.A) That MSRP is not what I paid (or at least signed contract for). Let's just say that I was sub-sticker.
B) I prefer the tow hooks and the rims of the overland as opposed to the SR. Not a fan of some other aspects of the SR interior either, like the quilted seats. Again, that's MY taste and what I wanted from factory but I still would have considered if any SR's matching my other preferences/colors was in stock nearby. Since no, I ordered what I wanted and how I wanted
C) I can't stand the Tupelo color...again MY taste (and my wife's as well for that matter) and love the steel grey. Another thing I couldn't get with the SR.

Agree on all accounts. I am out the door with TTL at just below 60k for a loaded Limited. I was able to add passenger screen and black appearance package as soon as it came out. To go up to the Overland, it was $10k more over MSRP. The things I wanted, receiver standard (but even that was a delete at the time) and air suspension (also a delete at the time). Everything else I could get on the limited, except the grey….I opted for the wicker beige. So, it made more sense to get the Limited based on the pricing strategy alone. I hope I don’t regret it.I agree 100% and I didn’t pay sticker either. I also agree If I had the option for the steel grey over the Tupelo I would have done it. I’m just amazed how the price of the overland is so similar to the summits I really wonder what jeep is doing with their strategy. I just saw that the 4xE 2 row tops 78k which is insane! Overland trim is a very attractive trim even I would get it if it wasn’t so close in price to summits.
I lined up my financing today and spoke with the dealer, yes, our Jeeps were indeed rail buddies He's still estimating 2 weeks though, I hope he's just trying to be a Mr. Scotty miracle worker.
That's exciting, I would love to have gotten a call from the dealer today before the big snow coming... But my dealer is not very communicative, which is surprising since I assume they would like to cash the big check I have for them.@RichSNJ I chatted with Jeep today and they stated our Jeep was delivered 1/26, but haven't heard from the dealer yet! I emailed them yesterday and they didn't mention that it had arrived but that it should be there any day 🤷♂️
